    Next you will see the completely reconfigured techlog management screen, so that the creation and updating of records is simpler and quicker.  Users can also instantly see the airworthiness status of each aircraft in the fleet.  As you will see, Aircraft Techlogs are the primary source for technical and operational data for each flight. Users can record defects and malfunctions, block times and fuel consumption. They can also add information on maintenance carried out on the aircraft between scheduled base maintenance visits. These records can either be created in the system, or imported from an eTechlog solution and then managed.

  4. Demo 4: 3rd Party Contract Management
    Next you will see the updates specifically generated for 3rd party maintenance providers to more efficiently manage their customer contracts, quotes and estimates, providing more useful data and visibility on-screen to aid the process.

  5. Demo 5: Maintenance Workpacks and Capacity Planning
    Next you will see the enhanced planning boards for base maintenance workpacks and hangar capacity, so that users can easily see the timings and statuses of ongoing and planned work including task cards. Capacityenables users to view hangar-based capacities and perform ‘what-if’ capacity scenario planning.     First, switching between Windows and iPad devices, the demo will follow the Pilots typical Pre-flight activities such as: acceptance of the airplane, fuel uplift, pre-flight checks (de-icing, etc) and viewing complete aircraft status updates (deferred MEL/CDL and categorized MEL/CDL items, etc.). You will also see how the solution works in off-line mode where connectivity is unavailable and how, in this scenario, a USB device is used to leave the Logbook on the ground prior to take-off.

  2. In-flight: Pilot and Cabin Crew Demos
    Next the demo follows pilots and cabin crew in-flight workflows.  You will see how the pilot enters a fault / complaint in real-time (in this instance a bird strike) and fills in customized forms. Also, how the cabin crew and pilot devices communicate seamlessly during flight.

  3. Post-Flight: Pilot and Maintenance Technical Demos
    Finally, you will see the Pilot close the flight and hand the aircraft over to maintenance. The demo will then follow the maintenance technician’s workflow including logging in, viewing open complaints (in this instance the bird strike reported in-flight), actioning the complaint, closing the logbook item, issuing a certificate of release to service, and more.

    – Cabin Crew enter simple defect using their Inspection App Cabin Log.
    ­– Management monitor aircraft in real-time, check work order and add Cabin and Pilot defects for mechanic to resolve upon landing using the Line Maintenance Resource & Planning App Line Control.
    Mechanic receives notification and responds to defects using the Gate Maintenance Activity Tool Quick Turn. The DENT is added and deferred.
    – Mechanics quickly scan the aircraft ensuring all emergency equipment is on-board using the RFID powered Emergency Equipment Inspection App Visual Check.
    ­- Pilots use Pilot Log to close the flight and generate the tech log.

  • Demo 2: Aircraft Maintenance – Creating Non-Routine, Digital Task Cards, Mobile Warehouse, RFID Parts, more.

    Scenario:
    Management create a Non-Routine for the open DENT defect and add it to a maintenance check package.  The Check is positioned according to the aircraft’s flight schedule and materials / tools status. Mechanic records receipt of parts using RFID App. Management plan the workflow and labour productivity. Mechanic accesses the DENT digital task card and uses digital manuals to execute. Mechanic completes Work Order with e-Signature and management check status and view signed task card.

    The process and Apps:
    – Management use Maintenance Planning Tool App ePlan to create Non-Routine for the DENT defect and add it to a check package. Current flight schedule and materials / tool status are analysed to position the check at the optimum time.
    – Mechanic uses the Mobile Warehouse Management App Ezstock to order parts and show receipt of them using this RFID powered App.
    – Management plan the workflow and labour productivity of the check using the Heavy Maintenance Planning Solution App Production Control.
    – Mechanic accesses the DENT digital task card using the Mechanic and Inspector Task Manager App Task Control. The Mechanic accesses digital manuals to execute the Task.
    – Third party customers can approve their additional work remotely in a paperless process using the MRO Aircraft Check Status Dashboard App Customer Portal.
    Management use Production Control to check status, QA audit check and view the signed PDF task card.
    – Mechanic uses Task Control to complete the Work order with a manual eSignature on the iPad.

  • Demo 3: Return to Lessor or Other Operator – Digital Records, Lessor Dashboard, more

    Scenario:
    Management access the aircraft digital records and show the DENT record in the file. The aircraft is then readied to export back to the Lessor or to another operator.

    The process and Apps:
    – Management use the Aircraft Records & Lease Returns Tool App eContent Control to show the DENT record saved in the digital records archive for this aircraft.
    – Management then use eControl Control to prepare the aircraft re-delivery records for return to the Lessor or to another Operator. Lessors can access their own dashboard to ensure a smooth and digital successful return of the leased aircraft, engines, APU and landing gear.

  1. Creating Task Card / Electronic Logbook: See how to generate Task Cards and Log Books on the same level as the OEMs and fully control user access and revision control. Also how to import Work orders / packages using Excel or CSV and customize the task cards and logbooks so they look exactly the same as your existing task cards including your company logo. Throughout the process there is seamless integration between InForm Bundle and your M&E system.
  2. Work Orders: You will see a variety of reports such as open/close panels, consumables, tools, exceptions and components which can be downloaded in PDF or Excel. You will see how the solution provides quick exports for Task Cards, Logbooks, eTasks, eNR (e-Non Routines) with XML sign-off capabilities to be seamlessly integrated with your M&E system.
  3. Electronic Tally Sheets: Via the import wizard, the TC Bundle allows for the import of master tables such as aircraft, tools, zones, references and panels tables via Excel. You will also see how work orders / packages are imported as well via the import wizard. The Electronic Tally template provides a summary of all package tasks and is e-signature enabled.
  4. Electronic Signatures: Each Task Card or Non Routine can be checked out by a Mechanic or an Inspector using an electronic signature. You will see how Mechanics and Inspectors can approve or n/a a line item. The Inspector can also reject a line item.
  5. Electronic Non Routines: All non-routines are associated with the Task Card or Logbook and the line item. At any point a non-routine can be raised by a mechanic, which will be carried over to the work order. The Mechanic can correct the action and then both Mechanic and Inspector can sign-off once complete.
  6. Dashboard / Reporting Features: In real-time, track open task cards and the current status of work in progress, which employee is assigned to what task and additional info on a specific task, vendor or employee.

Demo 2: InForm Checklist for generating paperless checklists and real-time reporting

Most aviation companies are still using spreadsheets to administer checklists, for schedules, track vendor lists, and to track follow up dates. Word is used to record action and findings. You will see how InForm Checklist converts this into a digital process and works in real-time. You will see the following key functionalities:
