Webinar Overview

Register to view this On-Demand Webinar (recorded 3rd August 2023) for a full walkthrough demo of the innovative Electronic Technical Logbook (ETL / ELB) solution from TrustFlight, as used by airlines and operators worldwide, with multiple aviation authority approvals, and built using the latest digital technology and UI/UX concepts. During the Webinar, TrustFlight experts will provide a full demo of the solution following a real-world flight with maintenance and pilot workflows. Beginning with maintenance, you will see an aircraft maintenance review with defect rectification, plus defect and work pack management processes for deferrals and AOGs. Next, the flight crew with crew briefing (inc. maintenance and historical flight data review), aircraft walkaround, trip preparation, pre-flight check-lists, report of defects, post-flight workflows, trip closure, and more. You will see how the solution fully replaces the costly and error ridden traditional paper technical logbook and provides advanced features such as: intelligent validation – to catch mistakes before records are completed; real-time fleet status dashboard for a clear and live overview of aircraft maintenance status and utilization; offline capabilities; digital embedded MELs; digital Dent & Buckle reporting; QR code tech; electronic signoffs; and more. You will see how the solution can be seamlessly integrated with all major M&E / MRO and scheduling systems, plus you will learn about the implementation process and how to gain regulatory approval.

The Webinar is divided into three key sections:

  1. TrustFlight Products Overview: ETL/ELB; MEL Manager; SMS & Ops Management System
The webinar begins, via an introduction to and brief overview of the suite of inter-connected products, with a highlight of the major outcomes and benefits airlines and aviation organizations of all sizes and fleet types, based globally, will gain from using the TrustFlight digital software suite. The solutions you will see include:

The TrustFlight Tech Log (ETL/ELB) – the main focus of this Webinar.
Centrik – the SMS and operational management system – for fully integrated, real-time operational management with modules including: risk, safety, compliance, manuals and more.
TrustFlight MEL Manager – to issue and revise MELs with ease for the entire fleet. Automate the creation, revision and publication of compliant MELs.

You will then be presented with the main key features surrounding the design and digital architecture of the Tech Log, ensuring that the solution is future proofed and scalable, before finishing with an overview of the existing TrustFlight customer base.

  2. TrustFlight Tech Log Demo Walkthrough for Typical Flight
Next, you will see a full ETL/ELB walkthrough showcasing the main capabilities and key features of the TrustFlight Tech Log by taking you through a real-life example of a typical flight, beginning with an aircraft maintenance review followed by a crew briefing, trip preparation, trip closure and report of defects. The demo will include the recording of operational data by maintenance personnel carrying out defect rectifications and maintenance procedures at the start of a shift. You will then be presented with the crew briefing procedures including maintenance and historical flight data review, aircraft walkaround, trip preparation, aircraft validation and pre-flight checklists followed by the post-flight workflows and trip closure. The demo will end with the report of defects and presentation of the web dashboard to show analytics (such as the real-time fleet status dashboard for a clear and live overview of aircraft maintenance status and utilization), back-office entry, and settings management.

The demo will show advanced features and workflow processes including defect and work pack management processes for deferrals and AOGs; intelligent validation – to catch mistakes before records are completed; offline capabilities; digital embedded MELs; digital Dent & Buckle reporting; QR code tech; electronic sign-offs; and more

  3. ETL / ELB Implementation, Regulatory Approval, and Business Benefits, Q&A
The last section of the Webinar summarises the typical implementation process for the TrustFlight Tech Log, covering requirements for configuration, procedure change, regulatory approval, and deployment of the technology to the full fleet. You will learn why the TrustFlight implementation team is well-placed for assisting with such a digitization project and then see a summary of the main takeaways and business benefits for making a move to the TrustFlight Tech Log sooner, rather than later. You will get the chance to ask questions throughout the webinar and get them answered by the Trustflight team during the final Q&A session.
