Webinar Overview

Register to view this On-Demand Webinar (recorded 13th July 2023) to see an overview and demos of Trax’s next-generation suite of eMobility aviation maintenance Apps, as used worldwide by airlines and operators to support end-to-end paperless maintenance. During the Webinar, you will see a short demo of nine iOS and web-based Apps.  You will learn how: they capture real-time information and transactions; are designed to work off-line and seamlessly synchronize and share data; allow 3rd party users like lessors to access the information and engage or authorize transactions; they are all combined to provide a truly paperless end-to-end process.  The demos will follow real-world workflow scenarios from a typical flight, as well as maintenance activities, from electronic technical logbook (ETL/ELB), cabin log, real-time line and gate maintenance activities, to planning, digital task cards, lease returns, digital manuals, and more. Trax will then walk you through how start-up airline Breeze Airways successfully implemented Trax’s eMobility and eMRO solutions in seven months to launch with a fully digital airline in 2021.  You will see how Trax and Breeze were able to show the FAA that it was possible to manage processes digitally instead of using traditional paper forms to achieve regulatory approval. You will also learn about the benefits Breeze are seeing from paperless operations, including faster turnaround time, mobile technicians and more; you will also learn about future plans to further streamline operations.

Trax will then discuss the emergence of next generation technology such as AI, Machine Learning (ML), and conversational AI platforms such as ChatGPT, and how they are revolutionizing the way we manage maintenance in the airline industry. They will outline the benefits such as how AI / ML systems can analyse vast amounts of data, identify patterns, and make predictions about potential maintenance needs, such as when parts may fail or need replacement.  You will also see how ChatGPT can enhance MRO software, including the Trax solutions.  Finally, Trax will discuss the importance of paperless MRO software in today’s airline industry and how to choose the right software for your airline or MRO.

The Webinar is divided into the following four key sections:

  • eMobility M&E Apps for End-to-End Paperless Maintenance Demos:
First you will see a short demo of nine iOS and web-based Apps.  You will how: they capture real-time information and transactions; are designed to work off-line and seamlessly synchronize and share data; allow 3rd party users like lessors to access the information and engage or authorize transactions; they are all combined to provide a truly paperless end-to-end process.

The Apps you will see are:

Pilot Log: For Pilots to enter Flight Information, Defects, Services Reporting, De-Icing, Fuel, Acceptance and Closure, and more.

Cabin Log: For Cabin Crew to enter Seat Mapping, Defects, and more.

QuickTurn: For the Line Maintenance Mechanic to Manage Defects, Dent Mapping, Delays, Troubleshooting, A/C Transactions, Part Requirements, CRS, and more.

    – Line Control: For Maintenance Control to track line maintenance work including all tasks, deadlines, defects and non-routines, plus assign line tasks to mechanics and track progress.

Aerodox: For Technicians to search for, view and download documentation for their work. It handles OEM publications such as AMM, IPC, wirings, SRM, MEL, and other manuals as well as documentation in any format (SGML, XML, PDF, Images, Schematics, Video, Word docs).

Production Control: For Maintenance Control to view a dashboard designed for heavy maintenance checks which helps keep tabs on all tasks, deadlines, and non-routine issues. It accommodates planning for Work Orders, Task Cards, man hour assignments, and work turnovers.

EZStock: For materials and parts management; it allows users to perform common inventory transactions through handheld iOS devices and radio frequency scanners. Features include: Picklist, Issues, Return to Stock, shipping, transfers, stock check, adjustments, tool management, RFID tracking, barcode functionality, notifications.

Visual Check: For tracking of missing or expired emergency equipment such as oxygen bottles, life vests, smoke masks, safety placards, etc. The app utilizes the power of RFID technology and is based on aircraft equipment configurations for an easy-to-use interface.

eContent: For easy access to technical records to manage aircraft using the compliance and maintenance data from the main system. The app allows aircraft re-delivery records to be assembled in a digital, paperless way, thus providing substantial savings in cost and time for the successful return of leased aircraft, engines, APUs and landing gear.
  • Breeze Airways Paperless Maintenance Implementation Project
Next, Trax will then walk you through how start-up airline Breeze Airways successfully implemented Trax’s eMobility and eMRO solutions in seven months to launch with a fully digital airline in 2021.

  • The Role of AI, Machine Learning, and ChatGPT in Paperless MRO Software
Trax will then discuss the emergence of next generation technology such as AI, Machine Learning (ML), and conversational AI platforms such as ChatGPT, and how they are revolutionizing the way we manage maintenance in the airline industry. They will outline the benefits such as how AI / ML systems can analyse vast amounts of data, identify patterns, and make predictions about potential maintenance needs, such as when parts may fail or need replacement.  You will also see how ChatGPT can enhance MRO software, including the Trax solutions and how that could work, such as requesting parts.

  • The Importance of Paperless MRO Software and Selecting the Right System
Finally Trax will discuss the importance of paperless MRO software. In our rapidly evolving aviation industry, we face growing complexities in operations, stringent safety requirements, and persistent financial pressures. Effective management is pivotal for maintaining safety, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring regulatory compliance. MRO software acts as the backbone of these operations, integrating and streamlining processes, and providing data-driven insights to guide decision-making. Trax will discuss how a paperless maintenance platform is so important in this process and provide guide-lines and advice to airlines and MROs in selecting the right system.

About the Aircraft IT Webinar Series:

Every 2 weeks the Aircraft IT website hosts a different live Webinar, each Webinar hosted by a different IT Vendor. These sessions represent the perfect opportunity to learn about a software solution in a more informal manner and to quickly gain an in-depth knowledge of all the major systems on the market, all from the comfort of your own office or home with no sales pressure.

The IT vendor provides a live software demonstration/masterclass of their solution and explains how it can benefit airlines, MROs, Operators, OEMs, Leasing Companies. Once logged on, online delegates can ask questions via the interactive sections of the Webinar or simply sit back and watch and listen to the demonstration. There are two sessions during the day, each differently times to accommodate all time zones.

Each Webinar session is recorded, and an On-Demand version is then posted back to the Aircraft IT website a few days after the live session to allow you to view the content again with your colleagues. The library of On-Demand Webinar recordings provides an invaluable reference source of Flight Operations software demonstrations from the World’s leading Flight Operations IT Vendors.
