Webinar Overview

Register to view this On-Demand Webinar (recorded 25th June 2020) and join the digital, mobile and paperless maintenance specialists at EmpowerMX as they walk you through a demo and overview of the popular and powerful software suite FleetCycle; including a demo of the new Electronic Task Card (ETC) with Touchfree features – a digital solution developed specifically for the post-pandemic environment. The Webinar will begin with a look at the challenges and changes to aviation maintenance as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. As you will see digital execution of maintenance is a key factor for the continued success of airlines and MRO facilities, leading to efficient utilization of available materials, labor and facilities. Additionally paper-based operations will subject multiple users to physical contact with a paper trail, leading to potential increased spread of Coronavirus and similar infections.

During the Webinar you will see a tour of the FleetCycle suite of modules, as used by airlines, operators, MROs and OEMs of all sizes worldwide, to establish and enhance digital and mobile processes. These include: advanced materials and manpower planning; line and hangar maintenance execution status dashboards; in-house and third party component repair management; and the new Electronic Task Card solution for: generating and assigning task cards [routine and non-routine], providing engineers with all the information they need within the task card via any mobile device, using e-signatures, collaborating with remote support using built-in video technology and saving the video as part of the aircraft records, streaming drone footage directly to the task card, and more. As you will see, airlines and MROs can design and build their own digital system by selecting only the modules and functionality they need, all modules are mobile ready, available in the cloud for minimum IT investment, and can integrate with any existing M&E / MRO system.

The Webinar is divided into three key parts:

  • FleetCycle Suite of Modules Full Overview and Walkthrough
You will see a full overview and walkthrough of the FleetCycle suite of modules as used by airlines, operators, MROs and OEMs of all sizes worldwide, to establish and enhance digital and mobile processes, including: MRO Manager, Line Manager, Electronic Logbook (ELB), Maintenance Program Manager, Materials Manager, Shops Manager and EmpowerMX Connect. As you will see, all the modules are mobile ready, available in the cloud for minimum IT investment, and can integrate with any existing M&E / MRO system.
  • Demo 1: Electronic Task Card Solution (ETC) with Touchfree Features
Next you will see a demo of the new Electronic Task Card Solution (ETC). Legacy paper, PDFs and images can be rapidly digitized with the EmpowerMX conversion engine, enabling engineers to complete tasks digitally without contact with paper via any mobile device. AI and Machine Learning provide next-gen e-signature functionality where the ETC can auto recognize the correct signatories, where they should sign, and if they are qualified to sign, irrespective of the document format. You will also see how engineers can access remote support using the built-in video technology, record the calls and save them as part of the aircraft records; how to stream drone footage directly into the mobile device and onto the task card, in addition to photos; how to generate and assign task cards [routine and non-routine] and more.

  • Demo 2: FleetCycle Advanced Digital and Mobile Functionality
Finally you will see a demo of some of the advanced digital and mobile functionality within the FleetCycle suite of modules, including: Execution Status Dashboards – for full visibility of the status of line and hangar maintenance activities; Materials and Planning – for just-in-time delivery of materials to the execution floor and active allocation of human resources (engineers) to planned maintenance activities; Shops – a stand-alone or integrated module handling in-house or third party component repairs management, tracking how much time the components spend in each maintenance step and generating the required airworthiness certifications.

Webinar Agenda:

  • Overview of the changes imposed on MROs during the current crisis and the different solutions dealing with the challenges.
  • Brief intro to EmpowerMX and FleetCycle Suite of Modules Full Overview and Walkthrough: MRO Manager, Line Manager, Electronic Logbook (ELB), Maintenance Program Manager, Materials Manager, Shops Manager, EmpowerMX Connect.
  • Demo 1: Electronic Task Card (ETC)

About the Aircraft IT Webinar Series:

Every 2 weeks the Aircraft IT website hosts a different live Webinar, each Webinar hosted by a different IT Vendor. These sessions represent the perfect opportunity to learn about a software solution in a more informal manner and to quickly gain an in-depth knowledge of all the major systems on the market, all from the comfort of your own office or home with no sales pressure.

The IT vendor provides a live software demonstration/masterclass of their solution and explains how it can benefit airlines, MROs, Operators, OEMs, Leasing Companies. Once logged on, online delegates can ask questions via the interactive sections of the Webinar or simply sit back and watch and listen to the demonstration. There are two sessions during the day, each differently times to accommodate all time zones.

Each Webinar session is recorded, and an On-Demand version is then posted back to the Aircraft IT website a few days after the live session to allow you to view the content again with your colleagues. The library of On-Demand Webinar recordings provides an invaluable reference source of MRO software demonstrations from the World’s leading MRO IT Vendors.
