Webinar Overview

Register to view this On-Demand Webinar (recorded 5th August 2021) and join the digital aviation maintenance specialists at Rusada to see a demo of the powerful ENVISION Inventory management Solution. Using demos of the software, Rusada experts will show the end-to-end digital process of replenishing stock from the perspective of multiple roles, from engineer and technician, to stores and logistics personnel. From the initial part request, through to quoting, ordering, receiving and inspecting, you will see how a modern, web-based system, along with dedicated Mobile Apps can digitize and largely automate these common day-to-day processes, whilst providing real-time cross-company visibility on stock availability and demand. You will see how Mobile Apps integrate seamlessly with the core system allowing technicians to request parts from any location and track progress while the core system auto-generates RFQs; store personnel can use embedded bar code scanners within their mobile devices to receive parts, and more.

The Webinar is divided into four key sections:

  • ENVISION Inventory Management Module Overview & Part Enquiry Feature
The Webinar begins with Rusada providing a quick overview of the module. You will see how the company-wide digital solution allows users to define and control parts master data, generate RFQs, and purchase orders, analyze vendor performance, manage stock levels and more.  You will then see a demo of the system’s Part Enquiry feature which provides in-depth real-time information on part history, location, alternatives & applicability, pricing history and more.

  • Demos: Requesting / Ordering Parts and Acquiring Stock
Next you will see a Technician requesting parts via the ENVISION Tasks App, and how that stock is then issued in real-time using the core system. You will then see how Purchasers can quickly submit multiple RFQs for the required parts and how vendor quotes can be compared and selected.

  • Demo: Receiving Stock
Next you will see the process of the parts being received by Stores personnel using a mobile device and the built-in bar code scanner functionality. You will see how the parts are then processed by inspectors using the core system providing traceability and management of all receipts. Discrepancies are managed during the receipt process with the ability to interact with the supplier via email for any non-conformities.

  • Demo: Stock Management
Finally, you will see how parts can be shipped for repair by Logistics personnel, including how an air waybill can be scanned and attached using a mobile device.  As you will, see Stock Management manages all aspects of the stock within each warehouse facility including: stock auditing and cycle counts, unserviceable stock management and quarantine store, inter-base transfer and stock replenishment, and more.

The webinar will conclude with an audience Q&A session where you can ask the Rusada staff any questions you may have about ENVISION’s Inventory Management module.

About the Aircraft IT Webinar Series:
