*Please note: this webinar is only for Airlines or Aircraft Operators only
Register to view this On-Demand Webinar (recorded 26th February 2026) and join SITA to see the latest developments in Flight Tracking with integrated digital Dispatcher tools, via a demo of SITA Mission Watch, as used by over 3500 dispatchers, from 110 different airlines, covering 20% of daily flights worldwide, for advanced flight tracking and monitoring, weather awareness, automated alerts, AI/ML predictive tools, and real-time in-App ground-to-air comms. During the Webinar, SITA experts will demo the solution, using a new advanced split-screen UI, covering real-world workflows; they will also showcase some cutting-edge features, such as the new AI/ML-powered feature that provides dispatchers with a more accurate ETA prediction in the OOOI panel up to 30 minutes before landing, helping to reduce gate conflicts, fuel burn, and passenger misconnects. Then you will see the new Replay and Training tool, and how it uses historical flight data for post-flight event analysis, process refinement, and dispatcher training; you will also see a demo of the Mission Watch Dispatch Simulator, which recreates complex real-world disruption scenarios (e.g. thunderstorms, airport closures, etc.) to improve dispatcher trainee decision-making skills. You will see how Mission Watch has helped airlines worldwide to streamline dispatch operations, reduce workload, and achieve measurable efficiency gains.
The Webinar begins with an overview of SITA Mission Watch, before SITA experts showcase a demo of the key functionalities following real-world workflows, from displaying real-time aircraft positions utilizing Terrestrial and Space-based ADS-B, VHF, ACARS, and ADS-C sources in compliance with ICAO GADSS, to visualizing real-time 4D weather forecasting, including tracking severe conditions, such as Clear Air Turbulence (CAT), en-route. You will see how dispatchers benefit from a powerful manage-by-exception auto alert system that tracks changes in weather and aircraft conditions, plus over 50 configurable alert types; as well as in-App ACARS and CPDLC messaging for instant and reliable communication between pilots and dispatchers, ensuring faster resolution of enroute issues such as runway closures or weather diversions.
The Webinar is divided into the following 5 key sections:
- Behind the Success: SITA Mission Watch Overview
First, SITA experts will put into perspective SITA Mission Watch’s Success – sharing numerical figures and case studies, and how the tool has allowed more than 100 airlines and 3000+ dispatchers worldwide get their job done in the quickest, smartest ways. You will see measurable results from real customer data as well as the drivers behind the product’s success, and why the tool is the most future proof in the market.
- SITA Mission Watch Demo Part 1 – Mission Watch Web Version
Next, you will see a demo the newly launched Mission Watch Web Version, focusing first on the elevated user experience, including the split screen capabilities, customizable panel views & configuration options, improved alert system with situational awareness design, improved filtering capabilities, upgraded navigation layer, improved messaging filtering, and much more.
- SITA Mission Watch Demo Part 2 – Key Functionalities
Next, continuing in the web environment, SITA will demo the most key functionalities of SITA Mission Watch:
– On flight tracking, you will see how the solution displays real-time aircraft positions from various sources like Terrestrial/VHF ADS-B, Space ADS-B, ACARS, and ADS-C, conforming to the ICAO GADSS Flight Tracking mandate.
– You will see the extensive monitoring capabilities through displaying a map with aircraft and airports and then adding weather information sourced from multiple channels, including 4D forecasting capabilities with the functionality to track severe weather events such as Clear Air Turbulence (CAT) en-route.
– SITA will next walk you through the manage-by-exception alert system, automatically tracking changes in weather and aircraft conditions and alerts key duty personnel when these conditions have passed. You will also see the configurability of more than 50 alert types, according to airlines’ own operation.
– You will also see how SITA Mission Watch incorporates in-app free ACARs messaging, organized with the best situational awareness design to facilitate communication between ground and sky.
- SITA Mission Watch Demo Part 3 – Predictive ETA
Next you will see a demo of how SITA Mission Watch is using AI and machine learning to provide dispatchers more accurate ETA prediction in the OOOI panel, much earlier in the time horizon, significantly increasing predictive accuracy at around 30 minutes prior to landing. You will also see case studies from Mission Watch customers, and how the predictive ETA helps airlines reduce gate conflict / gate unmet, reduce enroute fuel burn, reduce pax misconnect incidence, reduce mishandled bags, and hit better real time staffing.
- SITA Mission Watch Demo Part 4 – Replay & Training using historical data
Finally you will see how the solution unlocks the power of historical data, empowering airlines to easily glance at the past, and analyze what and why certain decisions were made, at a given past moment. You will see how SITA Mission Watch users can download any flight from the server and simulate it with all relevant historical data, including weather, alerts, messages, navigation data, and more. The demo will walk you through how the playback controls and time navigation, with the double timeline concept, truly empowers root cause analysis, process refinement, and operational awareness.
Based on the same historical data replay concept, SITA will then introduce the SITA Mission Watch Dispatch Simulator – designed to help airlines onboard dispatchers faster. Introduction of the trainer-trainee setup using a simulated environment based on real historical disruptions (e.g., thunderstorms, airport closures), allowing trainers to recreate complex operational scenarios to evaluate and improve dispatcher (trainee) decision making. The demo will also show the trainer-trainee live interaction capability, e.g. adding new scenarios in real-time, fast-forwarding timeline bar.
About the Aircraft IT Webinar Series:
Every 2 weeks the Aircraft IT website hosts a different live Webinar, each Webinar hosted by a different IT Vendor. These sessions represent the perfect opportunity to learn about a software solution in a more informal manner and to quickly gain an in-depth knowledge of all the major systems on the market, all from the comfort of your own office or home with no sales pressure.
The IT vendor provides a live software demonstration/masterclass of their solution and explains how it can benefit airlines, MROs, Operators, OEMs, Leasing Companies. Once logged on, online delegates can ask questions via the interactive sections of the Webinar or simply sit back and watch and listen to the demonstration. There are two sessions during the day, each differently times to accommodate all time zones.
Each Webinar session is recorded, and an On-Demand version is then posted back to the Aircraft IT website a few days after the live session to allow you to view the content again with your colleagues. The library of On-Demand Webinar recordings provides an invaluable reference source of Flight Operations software demonstrations from the World’s leading Flight Operations IT Vendors.
