Webinar Overview

*This webinar is open to airlines and aircraft operators only.

Register to view this On-Demand Webinar (recorded 4th September 2025) to see how the latest AI-driven data analysis, with integrated ADS-B data can provide pilots with the real-time situational awareness and the data they need to optimize fuel efficiency, for each phase of flight, from pre-flight planning to taxi-in, via a demo of FlyGuide, the powerful EFB App from StorkJet. As you will see FlyGuide, powered by advanced AI, tail-specific aircraft performance models, and with new integrated ADS-B real-time data, turns complex operational decisions into clear, data-driven guidance providing the intelligence crews need to make informed, cost-optimized decisions during all phases of flight, such as optimal flight paths, speeds, and altitudes to save fuel without compromising safety or reliability. The demos, utilizing real-world routes, live airport data, and historical performance records, will walk you through three critical phases of flight. First, for pre-flight fuel planning, you will see how to calculate an exact extra fuel load using two years of actual flight data to quantify overburn and underburn trends and, accounting for runway changes, to recommend the right extra fuel load and avoiding unnecessary weight and overburn. Next you will see how FlyGuide optimizes Single-Engine Taxi-Out, calculating the optimal engine-start points based on airport layout, warm-up times, and live ground traffic.

Finally, you will see how FlyGuide provides Pilots with the data in-flight to optimize flight descent management through anticipating ATC shortcuts using historical arrival patterns.  As you will see this allows crew to set realistic top-of-descent points, maintain idle-thrust profiles, and avoid costly early or late descents. Post-flight analysis reveals where further savings could be made.

The Webinar is divided into the following four key sections:

1. StorkJet Company and FlyGuide Overview
The Webinar begins with an overview of StorkJet’s fuel-efficiency and performance-monitoring ecosystem, including the Fuel Efficiency Dashboard – FuelPro, FlyGuide FPO for flight profile optimization and AdvancedAPM for aircraft performance monitoring. The Webinar will then focus on FlyGuide for pilots.  You will see how the system integrates live ADS-B data with years of flight history to improve the pilot’s situational awareness across every phase of flight, and deliver precise, actionable, and cost-optimized fuel saving recommendations.

2. FlyGuide App – Demo 1: Extra Fuel Decision Making
First, you will see how FlyGuide provides the data needed to move beyond guesswork in pre-flight fuel planning.  The demo will start with the traditional process: stacks of flight plans, weather charts, and NOTAMs; and then show how FlyGuide uses two years of actual flight data to quantify overburn and underburn trends, account for runway changes, and recommend the right fuel load. You will learn how to replace blanket “extra fuel” with precise, confident decisions that avoid unnecessary weight and overburn.

3. FlyGuide App – Demo 2: Single-Engine Taxi-Out
Next, you will see how to capture the benefits of Single-Engine taxi without risking departure delays. The demo will show how FlyGuide calculates optimal engine-start points based on airport layout, warm-up times, and live ground traffic, allowing crews to adapt in real time and resulting in consistent savings, reduced workload, and no loss of operational flexibility.

4. FlyGuide App – Demo 4: Flight Descent Management
Finally you will discover why descent is the most fuel-critical phase of flight; and how anticipating ATC shortcuts can make or break efficiency. As you will see, using historical arrival patterns, FlyGuide helps crews set realistic top-of-descent points, maintain idle-thrust profiles, and avoid costly early or late descents. Post-flight analysis pinpoints deviations and quantifies the fuel cost, turning each flight into a learning opportunity.

Why Attend

  • See live FlyGuide demonstrations using actual route and airport data
  • Learn how AI-driven optimization outperforms rule-of-thumb practices
  • Understand savings potential across pre-flight, taxi-out, descent, and beyond
  • Gain actionable insights to improve efficiency without increasing risk

Who Should Join
Flight operations managers, fuel efficiency teams, training departments, and flight crews looking for practical, data-backed ways to reduce fuel burn and streamline decision-making.

About the Aircraft IT Webinar Series:

Every 2 weeks the Aircraft IT website hosts a different live Webinar, each Webinar hosted by a different IT Vendor. These sessions represent the perfect opportunity to learn about a software solution in a more informal manner and to quickly gain an in-depth knowledge of all the major systems on the market, all from the comfort of your own office or home with no sales pressure.

The IT vendor provides a live software demonstration/masterclass of their solution and explains how it can benefit airlines, MROs, Operators, OEMs, Leasing Companies. Once logged on, online delegates can ask questions via the interactive sections of the Webinar or simply sit back and watch and listen to the demonstration. There are two sessions during the day, each differently times to accommodate all time zones.

Each Webinar session is recorded, and an On-Demand version is then posted back to the Aircraft IT website a few days after the live session to allow you to view the content again with your colleagues. The library of On-Demand Webinar recordings provides an invaluable reference source of Flight Operations and MRO software demonstrations from the World’s leading Flight Operations and MRO IT Vendors.
