Full Webinar Overview: IFS Cloud for Aviation Maintenance: The evolution of aviation maintenance software

Investment in modern aviation maintenance software is vital for airlines to grow and thrive in the current marketplace. The best maintenance solutions will enable airlines to guarantee high system performance, scale MRO to meet passenger demand, capitalize on new embedded technologies to improve automation and optimization, and maintain security standards. Not only will MRO IT systems save airlines time and reduce costs, but they will maximize aircraft uptime, and lead to improved passenger satisfaction on each and every flight.

Learn how IFS is evolving aviation maintenance by bringing together best of breed capability for aviation maintenance with the broader portfolio of capability in IFS Cloud. As a trusted aviation maintenance software partner, IFS has led the charge in working with airlines, fleet operators, and MRO providers to enable a required level of innovation and ingenuity with a variety of high-value solutions.

Join IFS on November 3 as Dan Dutton, Senior Vice President R&D, IFS Aerospace and Defense, explains how IFS Cloud Solution for Aviation Maintenance is architected to meet the demands of the world’s leading airlines, allowing you to truly transform your maintenance and engineering business.

The webinar will drill down and focus on the following:

  • IFS Cloud – A Single Solution – Full Solution Overview:
How IFS Cloud for Aviation Maintenance serves as the next major step in the evolution of the IFS aviation maintenance solution in a single product on a single platform.

You will see how airlines and operators who are using IFS Maintenix will benefit from the very rich IFS Portfolio suite of products. For example, users have access to a much richer supply chain solution (used by all industries) and quality management which provides the possibility of having sampling programs to assess the receiving inspection process. MROs which are also CAMO organizations will be able to leverage the advanced functionality IFS Maintenix has to offer.

As you will see all future IFS Cloud for Aviation Maintenance customers will benefit from IFS’ different initiatives leveraging new and available technology to provide simpler workflows and leverage mobile devices native functionalities, including the use of remote assistance as part of line maintenance to allow a direct video communication between a tech and MOC; the use of Digital twins to monitor engine reliability; the use of CRM portals to streamline the communicate with customers removing the reliance on email; and more.
  • IFS Cloud Solution Demos:
New Industry Depth and Differentiation: See how IFS Cloud for Aviation Maintenance brings exciting new capabilities in Forward and Line Maintenance Mobility, IPC loading, and long-range fleet planning. You will see demos of the following new and exciting capabilities:
  1. Mobile Maintenance: (the new name for line/forward maintenance) is built with the highest requirements around digital signatures: non repudiation and secure private keys on smart cards. This ensures that only the technician signing off will be responsible / accountable for the work performed. Additionally, you will see the use of remote assistance – when the technician identifies a defect and would like his supervisor, who might be physically far away from his location, to discuss how to proceed. They can chat, view the defect through the camera, and take measurements automatically if needed.
  2. IPC Loading: loading OEM IPC decreases the need of having to reference PDF files for part interchangeability, incompatibility, etc. It ensures that Maintenix is always up to date; making it the main configuration system which could be queried by all other systems in the customer eco-system.
  3. Long-Range Fleet and Maintenance Planning: The solution allows the engineering team to manage more aircraft with reduced human intervention due to an efficient user experience, reduction in manual processes, real-time alerts, and automated processes. At a strategic level, users can effectively examine the impact of key strategic decisions in the organization – such as adjusting aircraft induction/retirement, modifying resource levels or changing utilization levels – while also comparing key performance indicators. Long range planners now have unified information to give them the insights they need to quickly develop and share regulatory-compliant fleet maintenance plans that best support aircraft availability, task yield, and hangar utilization
  • Best-of-Breed – Additional IFS Solutions available in IFS Cloud:
Bringing the best of what IFS has to offer to all Aerospace and Defense customers including, advanced technology in the IFS Cloud Platform along with the breadth of applications functionality in IFS Cloud to aviation maintenance.

Finally, you will see an overview of the other IFS solutions available in IFS Cloud including: Airframe MRO, Complex-assembly MRO(CAMRO) And Component Repair. As you will see these solutions are all supported by IFS’ Supply Chain, Finance, CRM modules, plus others. You will see how all these solutions are available seamlessly within IFS Cloud for Aviation Maintenance and users can pick and choose the functionality they require. IFS Cloud for Aviation Maintenance automatically includes Allowable Configuration (IPC revision loader) and Mobile Maintenance integrated with Maintenix.
