Webinar Overview

Please note this Webinar is for airlines and aircraft operators only

Register to view this On-Demand Webinar (recorded 24th February 2022) to see the latest advances in fuel efficiency solutions powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI), with a demo of the popular FuelPro from StorkJet, as used by airlines of all sizes worldwide to utilize the full power of AI to model accurate fuel saving scenarios by aircraft tail, reveal precise savings across 44 fuel initiatives, fully engage pilots using a nextgen EFB Pilot App, and ultimately reduce fuel costs by up to 4%. During the Webinar, StorkJet experts will use FuelPro demos to show how the solution combines all relevant data sources, such as QAR/FDR, Flight plans, Crew info, Metar, Loadsheets, Weather, ACARS, etc., into one database; providing airlines with the tools needed to analyze the data, explore fuel savings opportunities, and design a realistic action plan to achieve reductions airline-wide. As you will see, FuelPro can monitor up to 44 fuel saving initiatives. The examples shown to you will include: flight path optimization, single-engine taxi-in, final reserve fuel, and more.  You will see how to track results, creating quick and easy dashboards, charts, reports and customized powerful statistics based on the airline’s needs and requirements. You will then see how the platform uses artificial intelligence and the most precise tail-specific performance models to easily identify areas for optimization, including creating ‘what-if’ scenarios so that airlines can accurately model fuel saving potential for any phase of a flight with any route and weather condition.

Finally, you will see a demo of the new next-generation FuelPro EFB App designed for pilots and providing them will all the data and analysis needed to fully engage them in the fuel optimization program.  Via a demo of the App, you will see how pilots can easily prepare for each flight, such as planning an optimum amount of fuel and planning for arrival and departure in the most cost-efficient way without compromising safety. You will also see how the App also provides intuitive feedback to pilots after the flight with clear advice on areas for improvement, including: their score to each fuel policy, the progress they have made over time, and how they compare to other pilots. Also, they can easily compare their flight profiles to the most optimum one, so easily check where improvements can be made.

The Webinar is divided into 4 key sections:

  • StorkJet FuelPro Platform Overview: Fuel Efficiency Challenges, FuelPro Airline Case Studies
The Webinar begins with an outline of the key challenges in fuel optimization as identified by FuelPro’s airline customers from around the world. The challenges include:

    – Where and how big the real savings are?
    – How to get the desired information from multiple data sources?
    – How to engage pilots and other stakeholders to build a positive fuel ecosystem?

Based on success stories from such airlines like Volaris, LOT Polish Airlines or JetSMART you will see how FuelPro addresses all these challenges within all 44 fuel initiatives.
  • FuelPro Demo 1: Use Artificial Intelligence Aircraft Performance Models to Create What-If Scenarios
Next you will see how data-driven, AI performance models help airlines to easily identify areas for optimization, create ‘what-if’ scenarios, and clearly show precise fuel saving potential in all phases of operation. StorkJet’s models, used within the FuelPro platform, can also predict what would be the additional cost if the pilot/dispatcher were to make another, non-optimal decision. As you will see the performance models consider every aspect that matters. Simulations for different variants of a flight take into account current aircraft deterioration, gross weights, weather conditions and much more. These models are utilized in all 44 fuel saving initiatives supported by FuelPro within flight planning, APU, taxi, take-off, climb, cruise, descent, and landing. Examples shared during the webinar will focus on such areas as aircraft performance monitoring, single-Engine taxi, flight profile optimization and more.

As you will see, this is proven technology, which has already optimized 4.1 million flights. The average error in fuel burn prediction is only a few kilograms per flight hour. This ensures the performance models are the most precise on the market, which has been confirmed by the airline users.
  • FuelPro Demo 2: Monitor up-to 44 fuel initiatives – Analyze Data, Monitor, Design Realistic Saving Plan
Next you will see how to monitor up-to 44 fuel initiatives – analyze the data, explore saving opportunities, and design a realistic action plan to achieve fuel reductions. Real-life examples you will see during the demo include: final reserve fuel, acceleration altitude and flight path optimization. As you will see, with the most precise fuel burn prediction models on the market, airlines can find true saving opportunities upon logging to the system. FuelPro proivides Airlines with the knowledge to know exactly what they should focus on and can quickly react to unexpected changes. You will also see how to monitor and adjust an airline’s polices over time, create quick and easy dashboards, charts, reports and customize powerful statistics based on the airline’s needs and requirements.

  • FuelPro Demo 3: EFB App to Engage Pilots Demo – Fuel Briefing, Intuitive Feedback to Reduce Emissions
Next you will see how FuelPro promotes better pilot engagement to fly more efficiently and contribute to company sustainability goals. During the webinar, StorkJet will showcase, for the first time, a next-generation EFB app, which helps pilots optimize every aspect of a flight. Fuel briefing module helps pilots to plan a proper amount of fuel plus plan arrival and departure in the most cost-efficient way without compromising safety. As you will see, after the flight, pilots receive engaging feedback and clear advice on areas for improvement, including: their score to each fuel policy, progress they make over time and how they compare to other pilots. They can also easily compare their flight profiles to the most optimum one, and drilldown to easily check where improvements can be made in all phases of flight.

About the Aircraft IT Webinar Series:

Every 2 weeks the Aircraft IT website hosts a different live Webinar, each Webinar hosted by a different IT Vendor. These sessions represent the perfect opportunity to learn about a software solution in a more informal manner and to quickly gain an in-depth knowledge of all the major systems on the market, all from the comfort of your own office or home with no sales pressure.

The IT vendor provides a live software demonstration/masterclass of their solution and explains how it can benefit airlines, MROs, Operators, OEMs, Leasing Companies. Once logged on, online delegates can ask questions via the interactive sections of the Webinar or simply sit back and watch and listen to the demonstration. There are two sessions during the day, each differently times to accommodate all time zones.

Each Webinar session is recorded, and an On-Demand version is then posted back to the Aircraft IT website a few days after the live session to allow you to view the content again with your colleagues. The library of On-Demand Webinar recordings provides an invaluable reference source of Flight Operations software demonstrations from the World’s leading Flight Operations IT Vendors.
