Webinar Overview

Register to view this On-Demand Webinar (recorded 18th November 2022) and see how to streamline and digitize the critical process of connecting airlines, operators, MROs, and OEMs with qualified freelance temporary technicians and engineers to support additional aircraft maintenance requirements, via a full overview and demo of the new online platform StaffNow.  As you will see, StaffNow, as used by Lufthansa Technik, puts the hiring process directly in the control of each company, providing them with direct access to a large pool of EASA/FAA pre-checked contractors, with a single channel for all direct communications, and with real-time progress tracking for each vacancy. During the Webinar, StaffNow experts will take you through a demo of a typical vacancy posting from an MRO looking for temporary manpower to support a recent maintenance project they have won.  The demo will largely follow the perspective of the MRO, but also show a how a supporting recruitment agency and the contractor engineer can login and interact with the platform.  You will see how the MRO can quickly build and post the vacancy, including: levels of expertise for the technicians, required experience, pay, aircraft type, etc, how to search for candidates directly, accept or reject candidates, and more lots more. You will also see advanced features such as auto- notifications to alert key personnel to tasks, real-time reports and status per vacancy, as well as historical data for analysis and forecasts.

The Webinar is divided into three parts:

  1. Overview of StaffNow
The Webinar begins with an overview of the StaffNow company and platform.  You will see that StaffNow is an online platform that quicky and efficiently connects airlines, operators, MROs and OEMs with the manpower they need – qualified and available aircraft technicians.  The platform was developed to answer the problems companies faced using previous recruiting processes; problems such as: lack of transparency, limited reach to qualified manpower, tedious manual processes, lack of prompt status updates and feedback, and more.  You will see how this digital platform, built using the latest technology, answers these problems.

  2. StaffNow Demo 1: Airline, Operator, MRO, OEM – Posting and Managing a Vacancy
The platform demo will follow an MRO looking for temporary qualified manpower to support a recent maintenance project they have won. You will see how the MRO can quickly build and post the vacancy, including: levels of expertise for the technicians, required experience, pay, aircraft type, etc, how to search for candidates directly, accept or reject candidates, and lots more. During the demo you will see how the StaffNow digital platform provides the MRO with:
    • Vetted technician profiles to the industry requirements (EASA/FAA) – technicians ready to be hired.
    • Direct access to technicians interested to work
    • Real-time tracking of applications and fulfilment.
    • Transparency of processes and actions for different departments at the company related to sourcing and evaluation of technicians (HR, Quality, Production)and, thereby, easily identify bottlenecks in the processes.
    • Collection of historical data for analysis and forecasts.

  3. StaffNow Demo 2: Recruitment Agency and Technician Contractor Perspective
Next you will see a demo of StaffNow from a recruitment agenda and technical contractor perspective. You will see how agencies receive notifications from the platform and via email, alerting them if one of their candidates has been selected. From the Contractor’s perspective you will see how technicians and engineers self-register and create professional profiles using templates aligned with EASA and FAA requirements. You will see how the StaffNow platform also provides them with:
