Webinar Overview

Register to view this Webinar recording (recorded on the 16th October 2014) for an excellent chance to view an as live online demonstration of one of the industry’s leading and most cost effective end-to-end aircraft M&E/MRO IT Solutions: OASES from Commsoft.  During the Webinar recording you see some cutting-edge new developments in M&E/MRO Software including:  Electronic Tech Log (eTechlog) and Technical Records Management; Repetitive Defect Investigations and Reliability Reporting.

The Webinar begins with a high level tour of OASES and the rich functionality the software provides including: Continuing Airworthiness, Planning, Production, Line Maintenance Control, Material Management, Commercial Management, Warranty.  You will see how the different modules seamlessly integrate with each other and with other IT solutions, such as an eTechLog, creating significant company-wide increases in efficiency via the sharing of data.

The Commsoft experts then provide a detailed as live demonstration of some of the OASES system highlights and latest cutting-edge M&E / MRO software developments:

1. eTechLog & Technical Records:

You see how an eTechlog linked to an M&E software solution can provide an airline or aircraft operator with real-time access to key Technical Records thereby ensuring CAMO regulatory compliance and increasing efficiency via: No/minimal data entry required into MRO System; Accurate and timely data – defects are seen as they are recorded; Easy to track Deferred Defects and their due dates; Tangible cost reductions (e.g. paper, fax, techlog etc); No “lost” technical records.

2. Repetitive Defect Investigations:

You see how OASES provides the ability to identify the occurrence of repetitive defects and then alert the engineering teams to repetitive defect events.  You will see how the system allows staff to open and track defect investigations by the line engineers or hangar staff and report on their findings; and how this automated process of defect tracking and alerting and subsequent management of repetitive defect allows the engineers to concentrate on identifying the underlying causes and solve them rather than spending a lot of time classifying defects and trying to identify repetitive ones manually among the many that occurs annually.

3. Reliability Reporting:

You see how to quickly and efficiently issue a Reliability Report using all of the utilization data, defect reports, delays and other data to automatically build a comprehensive monthly reliability report for the entire fleet including: utilization, dispatch reliability, and component reliability reporting down to individual ATA sub chapter level.  You see how reliability engineers can therefore spend their time examining reliability issues and solving them rather than spending their time compiling the reports.

This Webinar recording provides airlines, aircraft operators, MROs & CAMOs of all sizes with the great chance to see: how a modern, cost-effective, end-to-end M&E/MRO software system operates and the potential benefits it can bring your operation; how the OASES functionality and different approach compares with your current system; why 88 customers worldwide use OASES and the benefits they have discovered; and an introduction to some of the latest developments in M&E Software.
