Webinar Overview

Register to view this On-Demand Webinar (recorded 10th December 2016) and learn how Voice Technology can revolutionize Aviation Maintenance and Engineering via an as live and exclusive overview and demonstration of Vocollect, Honeywell’s new, unique and ground-breaking Voice Technology Solution.  During the Webinar Honeywell experts take you on a tour of Vocollect to show you how Voice Technology can connect to and compliment any existing M&E Software System to provide airlines, operators, MROs & OEMs of any size with huge increases in service quality, compliance with standards, productivity, working conditions and employee satisfaction.

Drawing on over 20 years’ experience in other sectors, Honeywell’s Vocollect already has over one million daily users and is proven to make them more productive, accurate and effective.  The solution has now been further developed specifically for Aviation Maintenance and Engineering.

In aviation maintenance and inspection, checklists are the traditional way to guide mechanics through their work process. Mechanics document their observations and findings with manual data input in a separate process from the actual inspection and maintenance.  Voice Technology introduces a hands-free, eyes-free environment with step-by-step voice-guided instructions.  You will see how connecting with, speaking commands to and verbally inputting data findings directly into any central M&E software system via a headset with a microphone, while performing the maintenance task, reduces out-dated data entry and task check-list look up time on a laptop, handheld device or with paper forms.

During the Webinar you will see, via a walk-though of an APU inspection, a video demonstration of Lufthansa Technik using Vocollect for Maintenance and Inspection.  You will learn how the process has assisted Lufthansa Technik to: improve service quality, reduce documentation time, optimize end-to-end strict process compliance and improve safety.  You will also learn how a leading OEM has realized a 30% reduction in production data entry – cycle time and significant gains in accuracy by using Vocollect.

Register to view this On-Demand Webinar and learn how Vocollect has the potential to change the future of aviation maintenance and can already support the following tasks:

  • Engine MRO: Streamlines off-wing repair to restore aircraft engines to designed operational condition
  • Component MRO: Enables regular aircraft inspection and maintenance checks to ensure flight worthiness
  • Heavy Maintenance: Streamlines inspection of airframe components, comprehensive structural inspection and overhaul of aircraft
  • Line Maintenance: Supports the execution of component MRO for APU, Avionics, wheels & brakes, communication equipment, flight controls etc.
