Webinar Overview

Sign up to view this Webinar recording and join Smart4Aviation for a full overview and as live demonstration of their exciting new software solution, developed with Alaska Airlines and also used by Air Canada: Smart LOAD.  Smart LOAD is the world’s first truly exception based weight and balance and load planning system and ensures that the best operational and most economical loading solution is used for each aircraft.

The Webinar video will show you that by using this sophisticated software, loading restrictions, irregularity handling, and direct communication are no longer challenges for any airline.  You will see how to fully automate and optimize the load planning activity, engaging agents only when economic or loading irregularities occur.

Full Webinar Recording Details

During the Webinar you will be taken on an as live tour of Smart4Aviation’s Smart LOAD software solution.  You will see that Smart LOAD is an extremely powerful yet simple to use solution, supporting both centralized and de-centralized airline load control models. The system perfectly combines the needs of airport ground operations departments and handling companies working in a multi-customer environment and with multi-role capability, including dispatch, load agent, freight, ramp agent, cockpit, engineer, etc. While optimizing, Smart LOAD considers cargo compatibilities, dangerous goods limitations and handling, company loading priorities, MEL/CDL (Minimum Equipment List / Configuration Deviation List) limits, special passenger handling conditions, and the most fuel efficient centre of gravity.

You will then see a brief overview of Smart4Aviation’s Smart COMM application, already used by industry heavyweights Air Canada, Air France and Alaska Airlines.  You will see how Smart COMM provides a major advance in streamlining and improving airline communication processes. Efficient communication ensures efficient operations. Flight Dispatch, Operations Control, Weight and Balance, Maintenance, Pilots, Aircraft Routing and Crew Scheduling can now collaborate on operational problems and situations, using a common platform. Users have a common view of the airline’s operation with critical information alerted in real time as changes occur. The communication between ground staff and aircraft via ACARS is available with a single mouse click; Smart COMM treats an aircraft as just another user of the system, handling all complex ACARS coded message formatting, behind the scenes. Furthermore, the System can respond to ACARS transaction requests issued by aircraft, as well as automatically alerting pilots of any relevant operational information, ensuring regulatory compliance for flight watch.
