Register to view this On-Demand Webinar (recorded 28th October) and join NAVBLUE as they outline and demo a ground-breaking new portfolio strategy designed to empower airlines with user-centric solutions drawn from a single flight operations platform, for seamless contextual collaboration, and enhanced situational awareness. During the Webinar you will see a demo of the first piece of this new portfolio strategy: Manage-by-Exception HUB. As you will see, the HUB leverages service-oriented architecture to draw flight ops events and alerts from several systems and present this information in a single interface, assuring that the users have real-time information and manage-by-exception alerting specific to their role rather than having to monitor several disparate systems. The HUB demo focuses on a Dispatcher but can easily be configured for any flight ops user, such as crew controllers, ops controllers and more, in which case the information displayed changes to reflect the user’s role. As you will see, from the moment the Dispatcher signs-in, the HUB is instantly aware of who the dispatcher is and automatically displays the flights they have been assigned. From that point on the HUB provides real-time updates to all the flight information for all phases of flight as well as event-driven alerting around flight, aircraft, weather, ATM and crew information assuring full situational awareness and visibility per flight. Additionally, the HUB provides a complete chronological history of flight events, alerts and communications, assuring that Dispatchers have a full historical context of what has happened to the flight.
The Webinar begins with a quick look at NAVBLUE’s current products as they exist today. Then you will be taken on an overview of their portfolio vision, to empower airlines with seamless contextual collaboration and enhanced situational awareness within a harmonized and flexible Flight Operations Ecosystem. As you will see, this meant rethinking how NAVBLUE designs and architects solutions for flight operations, with the goal to transition away from product-centric and siloed architecture dependent point-to-point integrations, towards user-centric solutions built on service-oriented architecture and designed specifically for seamless contextual collaboration and enhanced situational awareness.
Next you will see a demo of the first piece of this portfolio strategy, NAVBLUE’s Manage-by-Exception HUB. As you will see with the HUB users can manage all the operational assets they are responsible for in a single interface rather than having to monitor and hunt down information across multiple different products, and is designed to assure that users can maintain complete operational awareness by providing contextual information at-a-glance with manage-by-exception alerting. The HUB leverages service-oriented architecture to draw flight ops events and alerts from several systems and present this information in a single interface, assuring that the users have real-time information and manage-by-exception alerting specific to their role.
The demo of the Manage-by-Exception HUB will follow a Dispatcher’s workflow and include the following core features:
- Contextual Flight Information at-a-glance.
- Manage-by-Exception Alerting:
– Flight Alerts (e.g., ETD, GTD, OUT, OFF, etc.);
– Aircraft Alerts (e.g., MELs, EQP, SUB, etc.);
– Weather Alerts (e.g., turbulence, t-storms etc.);
– ATM (e.g., EDCTs, FCAs, etc.);
– Crew (e.g., PIC changes, etc.). - Flight History Panel displays chronological history flight events and alerts.
- Flight Communication (ACARS, CPDLC, etc.).
- Ability to sort, filter and search flight information.
- Day-of-Ops Flight exchanges (claim and delegate) between dispatchers.
As you will see the real-time alerts are drawn from various sources and have a consistent design logic with 3 severity levels, low, medium and high, and with high level alerts treated as exceptions requiring the dispatcher to take specific actions to resolve these.

About the Aircraft IT Webinar Series:
Every 2 weeks the Aircraft IT website hosts a different live Webinar, each Webinar hosted by a different IT Vendor. These sessions represent the perfect opportunity to learn about a software solution in a more informal manner and to quickly gain an in-depth knowledge of all the major systems on the market, all from the comfort of your own office or home with no sales pressure.
The IT vendor provides a live software demonstration/masterclass of their solution and explains how it can benefit airlines, MROs, Operators, OEMs, Leasing Companies. Once logged on, online delegates can ask questions via the interactive sections of the Webinar or simply sit back and watch and listen to the demonstration. There are two sessions during the day, each differently times to accommodate all time zones.
Each Webinar session is recorded, and an On-Demand version is then posted back to the Aircraft IT website a few days after the live session to allow you to view the content again with your colleagues. The library of On-Demand Webinar recordings provides an invaluable reference source of Flight Ops software demonstrations from the World’s leading Flight Operations IT Vendors.
