Next, using the example of engine maintenance optimization, you will see how automation and digitization simplifies and streamlines complex processes such as engine induction, work scoping, execution and marshalling, and kitting. Finally, you will see how the solution solves supply chain challenges utilizing the latest mobile technologies so mechanics can order and track spare parts and tools, and with automation, tap into historical data and ensure the right spare part is in the right place at the right time and at the right price.

The Webinar is divided into five key areas:

  • Ramco Product Overview: Digitalization of Core Operations using Advanced Mobile Apps
    First you will see how the Ramco product digitizes core MRO / M&E operations using advanced mobile technology and apps.  As you will see, the rapid progress and maturity of mobile technologies plus digital content availability of key technical documentation, including manuals and job cards, has made shop floor digitization a reality.  Mobility applications are becoming mainstream for MRO software. As you will see, the use of mobility to access technical documents, Record Time, Recording Findings, Process requests for Parts and Engineering advice, facilitates real-time system usage and reporting; and in turn, this has an exponential impact on improving productive hours, data accuracy, and data Insights.

  • Ramco Product Overview: Automation using Data; Planning and Optimization
    Aviation maintenance processes generate a wealth of data about the aircraft engine defects, parts consumed, labor hours, and elapsed time to carry out the repair and overhaul procedure. Accumulated over time, this data can become a goldmine of information to gain insights. As you will see with its AI/ML capabilities, Ramco derives insights into all key processes such as work order planning, and production planning & scheduling, which can then be automatically optimized for target objectives of cost or TAT optimization or both.

  • Ramco Product Features: MRO Execution (Digital OEM Manuals & Task Cards)
    Next the presenters will walk you through some key features powered by the latest technology.  First you will see how the system facilitates the digitalization of OEM manuals and PDF based task cards using automation and process automation; and then task cards and OEM manuals can be accessed by mechanics from their mobile devices for work execution and sign off.

  • Ramco Product Features: Engine Maintenance Optimization
    In this section, the presenters will discuss and showcase how to simplify and streamline complex assembly functions such as an Engine induction, work scoping, execution, and marshalling & kitting. The key challenges in each of these processes will be discussed and solutions will be offered to simplify the processes using automation and digitization.

  • Ramco Product Features: Supply Chain Optimization for Parts and Tools
    Lastly, the speakers will discuss the key challenges faced by Aviation supply chain and how technology can help to solve these challenges using mobile technologies, automation of processes, and optimized planning.  You will see how the solution solves supply chain challenges, utilizing the latest mobile technologies so mechanics can order and track spare parts and tools, and with automation, to tap into historical data and ensure the right spare part is in the right place at the right time and at the right price.

Every 2 weeks the Aircraft IT website hosts a different live Webinar, each Webinar hosted by a different IT Vendor.
