Register to view this On-Demand Webinar (recorded 6th July 2017) for an excellent chance to see a demo and full overview of DocBrowser Suite, the new digital manuals and document distribution software solution for airlines, aircraft operators and MROs. During the Webinar, you will see the system is suitable for any aviation documentation and manuals including Flight Ops and Aircraft Maintenance, can accept document formats such as XML, PDF or even MS-Word from any CMS Solution or any simple file system a company is using, and allows administrators to distribute their latest documents and manuals in a digital format to end users, i.e. Flight Crew and Aircraft Mechanics, directly to their tablet devices in real-time.
During the Webinar, Ovidius digital content experts will show you how DocBrowser can be quickly and easily set up and configured for any airline or MRO.
You will then see a walk you through of a typical document / manual lifecycle using a live demo of DocBrowser:
Stage 1: Loading and distributing digital Documents / Manuals into DocBrowser
You will see how content in any format (OEM Manuals, company documents, etc) can be uploaded to DocBrowser CDP (Content Delivery Portal), via any CMS solution, or from any simple file system. You will also see how administrators / librarians carry out, within the system, document management tasks such as managing users, groups, documents, track user access to content, and more. You will then see how to push content to relevant users or groups in real-time ensuring they have up-to-date manuals and documents. Finally you will see how users’ access to information can be tracked from DocBrowser CDP.
Stage 2: Flight Crew and Aircraft Mechanics accessing latest Documents / Manuals via iDocBrowser App
Via a demo of the iDocBrowser App you will see how Flight Crew and Mechanics access information in both PDF and XML format, with new documents and updated Manuals displayed and downloaded, in their App, as soon as connectivity is available. Before that the App can be used Offline. You will see how information is sent and filtered with respect to relevance, audience, aircraft, etc. Bookmarks, notes, fast searches and filtering allow quick access to relevant and key information. Content can also be viewed on EFB for Flight Crew.
Stage 3: Demo of Accompanying Apps (iReForm and iFlyThere)
Finally you will see a demo of two accompanying Apps. First iReForm displays all kinds of forms and reports (Journey Log, Autoland Report, etc.). Users can fill out forms on- or offline to be delivered in PDF, XML or text formats via email or back to the DocBrowser CDP database. Next you will see iFlyThere which provides interactive crew information for all destinations, maintained and kept up to date from DocBrowser CDP. The app knows where you are and presents relevant airport facility information, handling agent contact details, crew hotels and more… You will see how a new report for iReForm and a new destination for iFlyThere can be created in DocBrowser CDP.
