The demo also shows how Smart MOBILE integrates with crew rostering, flight planning, departure control, and mobile device management systems, and you will see how its web-based administration tools allow operators to customize synchronization schedules, workflows, and user permissions to match their exact processes. You will also see how the Apps reduce workload, improve decision-making, and minimizes the potential for operational errors – all while enhancing safety through faster access to critical data and clearer communication. As you will see, the system is available as a native iOS iPad mobile application complemented by a highly administrative web-based solution. Selected functionalities are also accessible through a progressive web application, all of which work seamlessly online and offline to ensure operational data is always within reach at every stage of the flight.

The Smart MOBILE demos will show the following key features and functionality:

  • Flight Briefing & Navigation: Access all key flight documents, operational flight plans, real-time weather data, NOTAMs, and waypoint navigation. View interactive route visualisations, track flight progress, and manage route modifications directly from the cockpit.
  • Mobile Map Functionality: Delivers real-time, high-range weather updates, enabling Pilots to anticipate and respond to weather conditions earlier than with traditional onboard systems.
  • Milestones: Enables airlines to define and track fully configurable operational milestones – such as turnaround or aircraft preparation steps – providing real-time visibility into process progress. Milestones can be triggered automatically through integration with third-party systems or manually by users, ensuring flexibility and improved operational control.
  • Fuel Order Functionalities: Order, review, and adjust fuel loads using an interactive interface that integrates with your flight planning system.
  • Cabin Crew Briefing & Passenger Management: Enable your cabin Crew to access flight-specific information, operational bulletins, and passenger data – including loyalty program status and special handling requirement – through a digital seat map and intuitive interface.
  • Rosters, Check-In & Notifications: Give Crew members mobile access to their rosters, personal schedules, hotel/base details, notifications, and messages. Support for check-in, shift changes, and roster bidding ensures Crew members remain connected and up-to-date.
  • Documentation Access: Deliver digital access to flight manuals, bulletins, safety procedures, and other critical documents – fully searchable, annotatable, and available offline. Updates are automatically managed and audit trails ensure compliance.
  • Digital Forms & Reports: Replace paper-based processes with configurable digital forms that can be filled, signed, and submitted directly from mobile devices – even when offline. Improve accuracy, reduce workload, and accelerate data reporting.

During the Webinar, the Smart4Aviation experts will also showcase the platform’s key core functionality including:

Every 2 weeks the Aircraft IT website hosts a different live Webinar, each Webinar hosted by a different IT Vendor. These sessions represent the perfect opportunity to learn about a software solution in a more informal manner and to quickly gain an in-depth knowledge of all the major systems on the market, all from the comfort of your own office or home with no sales pressure.

The IT vendor provides a live software demonstration/masterclass of their solution and explains how it can benefit airlines, MROs, Operators, OEMs, Leasing Companies. Once logged on, online delegates can ask questions via the interactive sections of the Webinar or simply sit back and watch and listen to the demonstration. There are two sessions during the day, each differently times to accommodate all time zones.

Each Webinar session is recorded, and an On-Demand version is then posted back to the Aircraft IT website a few days after the live session to allow you to view the content again with your colleagues.
