Webinar Overview

Register to view this On-Demand Webinar (recorded 2nd October 2025) to see how the latest technology is shaping the next era of aviation documentation, combining XML, AI, and compliance into one powerful platform, via a demo of the latest system upgrades for the popular Web Manuals All-in-one digital document management system, as used by over 740 airlines, operators, MROs, OEMs and others worldwide to optimize processes. During the Webinar, you will be taken on a demo tour of Web Manuals’ key functionalities following real-world workflows for document managers and end users (pilots, cabin crew, engineers), showing how smart digital documentation and automations streamline and bring efficiency to the entire documentation lifecycle: from editing and creating documents, to compliance and distribution using the powerful EFB App.  You will then be taken on a demo of some groundbreaking new developments with native XML integration and AI-powered tools. First you will see how new advanced XML capabilities allow users to import OEM content (Airbus, Boeing, Embraer), in native XML, directly into Web Manuals and to manage revisions, merge updates and more without additional tools or XML expertise; all alongside your own company manuals.

Then you will see how AI is transforming aviation documentation with a demo of two new tools. Amelia AI Search, so that crews can instantly locate the information they need and Amelia Co-Author, to speed up technical writing and compliance edits. You will see how these tools are designed not to replace human expertise, but to empower aviation professionals with more control, accuracy, and efficiency than ever before.

The live demos will walk through the following key functionality and workflows:

  • Edit and create documents — speed up authoring and revisions using smart modules (auto-generated LEPs, content mirroring, interactive table of contents and editor workflows) so that teams spend far less time on routine edits.
  • Manage compliance — connect manuals to regulatory libraries, receive change alerts, and retain full traceability for audits and safety assurance.
  • Distribute to crews with the EFB Reader App — role-based distribution, offline access and instant update synced to crew devices via the Reader App (Type B EFB-compatible).
  • XML Integration — import OEM content (Airbus, Boeing, Embraer) in native XML and manage revisions, merge updates and more without additional tools or XML expertise.
  • Leverage AI to find, write and validate content and compliance — use Amelia AI to ask natural-language questions of your manuals and get sourced answers, and use Amelia Co-Author to speed up technical writing and compliance edits.

The Webinar is divided into the following key sections:

1. Web Manuals Demo 1: Document Editing, Compliance and Distribution (EFB App)

First, Web Manuals experts will demo the foundations of the platform and walk you through how the system actually works in practice. You will see how editing and creating documents can be transformed from a slow, manual process into something streamlined and intuitive. With smart modules such as auto-generated Lists of Effective Pages, content mirroring across documents, and interactive tables of contents; you will see how operators are saving up to 80% of editing time while maintaining accuracy and consistency across all manuals. You will also see how compliance is built directly into the workflow. Instead of relying on external checks, you will see how manuals are connected to regulatory libraries in real time. You will learn how the system automatically alerts you when a standard changes, and how every revision is fully traceable, so that when an audit comes, you are always ready with a clear and compliant record.

Finally, you will see how distribution is no longer a bottleneck. You will learn how manuals can be published instantly with role-based permissions, ensuring that each team member receives exactly what they need. You will also see how crews access the latest versions through the EFB-compatible Reader App, making critical information available in the cockpit or on the go. By the end of this segment, you will understand how these three pillars—editing, compliance, and distribution—work together to simplify revision control, strengthen compliance monitoring, and ensure that the right information reaches the right people at the right time.

2. Web Manuals Demo 2: Innovation — XML Integration & What’s Next

Next, you will see behind the scenes of the newest innovations inside Web Manuals and see a preview of what’s coming next.

You will see how the system is evolving beyond traditional documentation into a smarter, more connected environment. The spotlight will be on XML integration, a feature designed to completely transform how operators manage OEM content alongside company manuals.

In this section, you will see demos of the following capabilities:

  • Importing OEM manuals with ease
You will see how Airbus, Boeing, and Embraer OEM manuals can now be imported directly into Web Manuals, without needing additional tools or XML expertise.
  • Editing OEM content in the same platform
You will learn how OEM material, once imported, can be edited side by side with your own company manuals in the same familiar environment—removing the need for multiple disconnected systems.
  • Managing revisions and updates
You will see how revisions from OEMs can be merged seamlessly into your manuals, ensuring accuracy and consistency across your documentation.
  • Customizing presentation for different roles
You will learn how content can be tailored to each user’s role, so that pilots, maintenance staff, and compliance teams all see information in the format most useful to them.

By the end of this session, you will see how XML integration is not just a technical upgrade, but a way to simplify OEM manual management, reduce friction, and bring everything into one streamlined system. You will also learn what’s coming next in Web Manuals’ innovation roadmap, so that you leave with a clear picture of how the platform continues to evolve for the future of aviation documentation.

3. Web Manuals Demo 3: AI and the new era of Documentation

Finally, you will be introduced to the newest generation of tools that bring artificial intelligence into aviation documentation. You will see how AI, through a set of practical features built directly into Web Manuals, helps to support crews, compliance teams, and technical writers in their daily work.

You will see demos of:

  • Amelia AI Search
You will see how Amelia AI Search allows crews and staff to ask descriptive questions and receive clear, contextual answers directly from manuals. Instead of scrolling through endless pages, you will learn how flight crews can instantly locate the information they need to make fast, safe, and informed decisions.
  • Amelia Co-Author
You will see how Amelia Co-Author works alongside technical writers and compliance officers, suggesting text, highlighting gaps, and ensuring consistency across manuals. You will learn how it helps reduce writing time, improve clarity, and support teams in producing accurate, high-quality documentation.

By the end of this demonstration, you will understand how AI is transforming aviation documentation: making it faster to search, smarter to write, and easier to keep compliant. You will see how these tools are designed not to replace human expertise, but to empower aviation professionals with more control, accuracy, and efficiency than ever before.
