Webinar Overview

Register to view this On-Demand Webinar (recorded 25th February 2021) to see the latest advances in fuel efficiency solutions, powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI), with a demo of fuelPro from StorkJet, a new platform designed with airlines to optimize flight operations, build a positive airline-wide fuel efficiency ecosystem, and reduce fuel costs by up to 4%.  During the Webinar, StorkJet fuel efficiency experts will show how fuelPro combines all relevant data sources, such as QAR/FDR, Flight plans, Crew info, Metar, Loadsheets, Weather, ACARS, etc., into one database. You will then see, via fuelPro demos, how the platform uses artificial intelligence to easily identify areas for optimization, create what-if-scenarios, and show precise fuel saving potential for any phase of flight with any route and weather condition using tail-specific performance models.

During the Webinar, StorkJet experts will demo how to analyze the data, explore savings opportunities, and design a realistic action plan to achieve reductions. As you will see, fuelPro can monitor up to 44 fuel saving initiatives; examples you will see include: flight path optimization, single-engine taxi-in, reduced landing flaps and more.  Next you will see how to track results, creating quick and easy dashboards, charts, reports and customized powerful statistics based on the airline’s needs and requirements.  Finally, you will see how to engage all key stakeholders throughout the airline, including management, dispatch and, most importantly, pilots. Via a demo of fuelPro from the pilot’s perspective, you will see how pilots can log into fuelPro for intuitive feedback and clear advice after each flight, including: checking their compliance to each fuel policy, tracking their own progress and how they compare to other pilots, comparing their flight profile and paths to the most optimum ones, and easily seeing where improvements can be made.

The Webinar is divided into 4 key sections:

  1. Key Challenges in Fuel Optimization and StorkJet / fuelPro Overview:
The Webinar begins with an outline of the key challenges in fuel optimization as identified by StorkJet’s airline customers from around the world.  The challenges include:

    – Where and how big the real savings are?
    – How to manage the whole set of complex fuel initiatives?
    – How to get the desired information from multiple data sources?
    – How to engage pilots and other stakeholders to build a positive fuel ecosystem?

Through an overview of the platform, you will see how fuelPro addresses all these challenges.

  2. fuelPro Demo 1:  Analyze the Data, Identify and Monitor Fuel Saving Initiatives:
Next you will see how to monitor up-to 44 fuel initiatives – analyze the data, explore saving opportunities, and design a realistic action plan to achieve fuel reductions. Examples you will see during the demo include: flight path optimization, single-engine taxi-in, reduced landing flaps, reverser usage, and final reserve fuel.  You will see how to create ‘what-if’ scenarios, and show precise fuel saving potential for any phase of flight with any route and weather condition using tail-specific performance models.

  3. fuelPro Demo 2: Pilot Demo – View Dashboard, Flight Profile, Intuitive Feedback:
Next you will see how fuelPro promotes better pilot engagement to fly more efficiently and contribute to company goals.  Pilots log into the solution to receive intuitive feedback and advice after each flight. They can check their compliance with each fuel policy, compare their flight profile to the most optimal one, see how they compare to other pilots, and easily see where are the areas for improvement.

  4. fuelPro Demo 3: Data Integration, and Dashboards, Charts and Reports:
Finally, you will see how fuelPro combines all relevant data sources, such as QAR/FDR, Flight plans, Crew info, Metar, Loadsheets, Weather, ACARS, etc., from all aircraft types, into one database. You will see how airlines can take advantage from having all their data stored in one location by using the advanced filtering options to design and create any chart or report required focusing on particular data sources or an individual aircraft or flight. The intuitive customizable dashboards and reports provide clear results for all stakeholders (management, dispatch, pilots, etc.), promoting a positive fuel efficiency ecosystem throughout the airline.

About the Aircraft IT Webinar Series:
Every 2 weeks the Aircraft IT website hosts a different live Webinar, each Webinar hosted by a different IT Vendor.  These sessions represent the perfect opportunity to learn about a software solution in a more informal manner and to quickly gain an in-depth knowledge of all the major systems on the market, all from the comfort of your own office or home with no sales pressure.

The IT vendor provides a live software demonstration/masterclass of their solution and explains how it can benefit airlines, MROs, Operators, OEMs, Leasing Companies.  Once logged on, online delegates can ask questions via the interactive sections of the Webinar or simply sit back and watch and listen to the demonstration.  There are two sessions during the day, each differently times to accommodate all time zones.

Each Webinar session is recorded, and an On-Demand version is then posted back to the Aircraft IT website a few days after the live session to allow you to view the content again with your colleagues.  The library of On-Demand Webinar recordings provides an invaluable reference source of Flight Ops software demonstrations from the World’s leading Flight Ops IT Vendors.
