Register to view this On-Demand Webinar (recorded 4th June 2020) and join the digital aviation manuals and dynamic content specialists at Yonder as they walk you through their powerful modular digital content management solution, Yonder Mind. During the Webinar you will see how Yonder Mind imports existing operational documentation and manuals in any format (PDF, MS Word, XML, etc.), and transforms them into dynamic content, with integrated editing, distribution, viewing and integrated compliance tracking in a single platform. You will then see how pilots, cabin crew and engineers can seamlessly access, up-to-date and role-specific content (including revision updates) and manuals using the sophisticated YM Offline App and YM Web Client, with additional powerful search functionality, so they can quickly find the information they require.
The Webinar is divided into three key parts:
- A Full Overview of Yonder Mind’s Four Modules and Dynamic Content.
The Webinar begins with Yonder experts providing a full overview of four core modules that form Yonder Mind: YM Web Client, YM Offline App, YM Editor, and the overarching YM Workflow, for compliance tracking / approvals and a full audit / revision trail for each document or manual. You will see how the solution generates dynamic content by breaking up existing manuals and documents into small ‘information modules’ which are then enriched with additional information like tags and roles. As you will see, dynamic content also eliminates duplication as the same information can be used and updated in multiple documents or manuals. - Demo 1: YM Web Client – Seamlessly Access Manuals and Content
You will then see a demo of the YM Web Client which allows users to access content via a web browser (an offline App for pilots or engineers is also available with exactly the same functionality). As you will see, the YM Web Client is used by both end-users such as pilots, cabin crew, or engineers, as well as subject matter experts and approvers to view content or initiate and approve change requests. The intuitive dashboard is used to easily navigate existing information or manuals or work through changes. Dynamic content ensures that all the information instantly available is based on the user’s role or the task at hand. You will also see how easily change requests can be initiated directly in the content and how they are classified and approved within Yonder Mind. - Demo 2: YM Editor – Create and Enhance Manuals and Content
Finally you will see a demo of the powerful YM Editor which is a native and user-friendly authoring tool with extensive functionality that allows for the creation and editing of content and manuals. Existing documentation (PDF, MS Word, XML, etc) can be imported to, and further modified, enhanced and transformed into dynamic content. Effectivity and visibility are also governed in YM Editor. Automatic data exchange with other systems can also be established; for example, for underlying regulations (FAA, EASA, IOSA, etc.), a change request is automatically triggered if the regulation changes. Similarly Airbus and Boeing manuals can be automatically imported and updated in YM Editor.
Webinar Agenda:
– Introduction to Yonder

About the Aircraft IT Webinar Series:
Every 2 weeks the Aircraft IT website hosts a different live Webinar, each Webinar hosted by a different IT Vendor. These sessions represent the perfect opportunity to learn about a software solution in a more informal manner and to quickly gain an in-depth knowledge of all the major systems on the market, all from the comfort of your own office or home with no sales pressure.
The IT vendor provides a live software demonstration/masterclass of their solution and explains how it can benefit airlines, MROs, Operators, OEMs, Leasing Companies. Once logged on, online delegates can ask questions via the interactive sections of the Webinar or simply sit back and watch and listen to the demonstration. There are two sessions during the day, each differently times to accommodate all time zones.
Each Webinar session is recorded, and an On-Demand version is then posted back to the Aircraft IT website a few days after the live session to allow you to view the content again with your colleagues. The library of On-Demand Webinar recordings provides an invaluable reference source of MRO software demonstrations from the World’s leading Flight Operations IT Vendors.
