Register to view this On-Demand Webinar (recorded 18th January 2024) and join flydocs as they walk you through their new and innovative cloud-based Lifecycle Asset Management (LAM) solution, designed to provide airlines and operators with real-time insight to and predicted status of their aircraft and assets, both leased and owned, throughout their lifecycle, from phase-in to phase-out and everything in between. During the Webinar you will see how the solution taps into multiple data sources including technical records, M&E System for live utilization, lease agreement, assembly information, lease return conditions and more, to automate and easily manage the end-to-end asset lifecycle, so that airlines can better manage their aircraft and risks as well as help to protect the asset’s value, and remove the need to manage the asset’s lifecycle through tools such as complex spreadsheets and manual record tracking.

During the Webinar flydocs experts will demo the platform showing advanced features from tracking how much life is left in each key component or LLP including costs, to viewing maintenance reserves vs cost exposure so airlines can track if they will be financially exposed at the next major maintenance event., flydocs will also show how the solution helps identify any issues that may come up during the aircraft return at the end of a lease, and lots more. You will also see how the platform enables airlines to model different operating scenarios, such as new routes or aircraft utilization, and predict how those changes will affect maintenance costs, maintenance reserves, parts and component life, financial exposure, issues at delivery, and more. Finally, you will see how the platform can assist airlines to optimize costs, such as ensuring that an airline does not return an old aircraft to the lessor with new parts – for example can the same components or parts, that are closer to redelivery conditions, be swapped from another aircraft in the fleet?

The Webinar is divided into four key sections:

  1. flydocs Products and Company Overview
    The Webinar will begin with a high-level walkthrough of flydocs and its industry-leading digital aircraft maintenance records and asset management solutions, as used by more than 75 airlines, lessors, and MROs, across 7,500 aircraft worldwide. As you will see, flydocs has been managing airlines maintenance and engineering records since 2007, with currently 500m+ live records in the platform.

  2. Lifecyle Asset Management (LAM) Platform Full Product Overview
    Next, flydocs experts will take you on a demo tour of LAM. You will see how the platform provides insight and understanding of an aircraft and asset’s status throughout the lifecycle from phase-in to phase-out and everything in between, providing airlines with the following features, functionality, and benefits:

    – Reduce costs with fleet wide predictive data analytics.
    – Integrated data sharing between key applications allows for seamless transitions.
    – Protect and maximize the value of all assets throughout their lifecycle.
    – In real-time, monitor and compare engineering data vs lease conditions, saving time and costs.
    – Advanced scenario and forecast modelling to achieve optimal asset utilization.
    – Protect asset value by safeguarding against commercial and compliance risks.
    – Synchronize technical and commercial data points to enhance operational performance.

  3. LAM Demo 1: Optimizing Asset Management, Lease Returns and Maintenance Costs
    During the demo you will see some specific use cases regarding integrated digital records, maintenance events and how flydocs supports end of lease requirements:

    – Technical Link – An innovative capability linking Lifecycle Asset Management with flydocs Digital Records Management modules, where asset owners, operators, and managers can compare contractual terms in real-time with the technical status of the asset.
    – Supporting the airline at the end of lease event – the platform identifies any issues, such as documentation issues, if LLPs have expired, dirty fingerprints, etc., that may come up with any of the assemblies, such as landing gear, APU, etc. The airline can therefore easily see what needs to be done ahead of time to return the aircraft to the lessor at minimal cost and on-time. Additionally, the platform shows if the airline is returning valuable assets and components on the aircraft which could be swapped in and out from other aircraft in the fleet.
    – Maintenance Event Timelines – A look at historical and combined costs, as well as predicted future costs on all major events. The airline can model different scenarios based on different aircraft operations, before deciding what is best and how to optimize the fleet.


  4. LAM Demo 2: Streamlining Lifecycle Events, Financial Exposure and Maintenance Reserves
    Next you will see how the platform streamlines lifecycle events, manages and highlights financial exposure, and maintenance reserves:

    – Maintenance Reserves Claim Management – Get more from maintenance reserves with the ability to easily track the history of all maintenance reserves claims and automatically update the MR fund balance.
    – Maintenance Reserves vs Cost Exposure, so that airlines can see if they are exposed financially at certain points during each major maintenance event. Airlines can use the modelling functionality to test operating scenarios to determine the financial exposure.
    – Asset Management Dashboards – increase the availability of assets and streamline lifecycle events by tracking the history of every major component, and empowering teams with real-time data visibility alongside forecasts and scenario modelling to fully optimize the fleet throughout the lifecycle to maintain value.
    – Automate key events and milestones – automate reminders of critical events such as insurance schedules, annual rate escalations and utilization reporting, ensuring optimal conditions are maintained throughout the lifecycle and ensuring that MRO funds are fully tracked and understood.
