Webinar Overview

Register to view this on-demand webinar (recorded 12th December 2019) for an excellent chance to see the latest developments in Compliance management software, with a demo of the new OASES Compliance software tool from industry-leading experts, Commsoft. As you will see the web-based solution can be used on all devices and has been designed as a standalone tool to allow any aviation organisation (airlines of all sizes and fleet type; aircraft operators, MRO facilities, OEMs, parts suppliers, etc) to seamlessly manage and control crucial compliance processes around documentation distribution, quality auditing and safety management. During the Webinar, Commsoft compliance experts will run you through an in-depth demo of the various modules and functionality, including: setting up the solution to match a companies exact requirements and processes, managing and distributing documents from a central technical library, administering a company audit, and managing safety assessments as part of a safety management system.

The Webinar begins with a brief high-level overview of Commsoft, and existing OASES modules for managing the end-to-end maintenance, engineering and logistics requirements of modern airlines, MROs and CAMOs. You will then be taken on a in-depth demo tour of the Compliance software solution.

The Webinar is divided into the following key sections:

  1. Compliance Tool Set-up for Company Requirements and User Creation:
The webinar will begin by describing how the application is set-up by the business to reflect their specific organisation. It will describe how departments can be set-up and how document storage hierarchy is created. It will also describe how users are created and the different roles with in the organisation are attributed to users which then reflect their access to the system. You will see how administrators are created to have special permission and rights in the system.
  2. Document Control and Technical Library:
In this section you will see how documents can be organised in the technical library and control is maintained through selective user access to the various parts of the library, be uploaded into the technical library and how they can be distributed to users. It will also describe the notifications that are received by users when new documents are added to the technical library relevant to a particular user. It will also show how administrators can track documents and ensure users have viewed documents and send reminders to users if they have not done so.
  3. Control Company Audits and Generate Detailed Reports:
Next you will see how the tool can be used to control the audit process within your organisation. This section will show you how you can use a built in library of regulation data to develop various audit templates. These templates can then be used as the basis of individual audits. The demo will also include the creation of an audit template from scratch to cover the case of creating a bespoke audit requirement such as a health & safety audit. Next the webinar will show how an audit process is completed using the tool to record the data gathered and also how evidence such as documents and photographs can be added to the record. It will also show how any findings can be recorded, classified and the relevant remedial action can be tracked by allocating them to an ‘owner’ and then allowing the follow up to be tracked by the assigned auditor. We will also see how an audit schedule can be created and will look at various reports which can be created.
  4. Safety Management as part of SMS:
Finally the webinar will look at how the compliance tool can be used to manage safety assessments as part of an overall safety management system within your organisation. In this section we will firstly show how a bespoke safety hazard matrix can be created, along with a safety action plan. The demo will show how accountable managers for various sections of the business can be assigned and safety assessments can be grouped by area of the business. Next we will show how an assessment is created and how safety event items can added into the assessment. We will show how data for each safety event is added into the section and how the risk scoring is carried out. You will see how safety mitigation actions can be assigned to individuals and then tracked to provide a final mitigated risk situation.
  5. Questions and Answers
We will finish the session with a question and answer session where the commsoft staff will answer any questions.
