Webinar Overview

Register to attend this Webinar and join Swiss-AS as they demo the latest AMOS digital and mobile solutions and processes, including a first look at AI technology adoption within AMOS with Amy the interactive assistant, plus a demo of the new Line Maintenance Planning Optimization tool LMPO.  The Webinar begins with an introduction to Swiss-AS and an overview of AMOS, plus a review of highlights from the last year including AMOSeTL taking to the skies. The Swiss-AS team will then introduce you to some features and processes that are delivering greater value to AMOS users, such as AMOShub, the digital marketplace for seamless AMOS integrations into 3rd party solutions, and the new AMOS to AMOS feature for smooth exchange of data between different AMOS systems; plus, an update to the Digital Tech Ops Ecosystem and how that provides AMOS customers with an unrivalled scope for integrated digital products.  You will then see a demo of the first AI-powered application in AMOS with a look at Amy the interactive assistant designed to provide AMOS users with advice on how to perform functions, and eventually to retrieve information from documents such as the MEL; plus, the team will introduce you to another AI tool in development, designed for Inventory Optimization enabling automated and proactive material provisioning.  Finally, you will see a demo of the new LMPO tool which automates and optimizes short and mid-term maintenance planning with real-time updates, constraints and visualizations of planning data with immediate detection of constraint violations such as flight changes, availability of staff at maintenance locations, and more.

The Webinar is divided into the following key sections:

  1. An Intro to Swiss-AS, AMOS Overview, and last 12 Months’ Highlights
    First you will see a brief introduction to Swiss-AS and their market leading MRO / M&E software product, AMOS, including a look at the accompanying mobile Apps AMOSeTL, AMOSmobile/STORES, AMOSmobile/EXEC. The Swiss-AS team will also provide an update of key highlights in the past 12 months, including new AMOS Community members having signed, AMOSeTL taking to the skies for the first time, and more.

  2. AMOS Products to Drive Value and Support: AMOShub / AMOS to AMOS
    In this section the presenters will introduce you to some of the products that have come to the fore recently to deliver more value and support to the most important customers, the end users:

    AMOShub.
    Firstly AMOShub. Whilst this has been presented in the past, the presenters will provide an update and present to you how this looks today and why they would suggest AMOShub as a product that sets Swiss-AS apart from their competitors. As you will see, AMOShub allows certified partners to develop new integration points, providing the future for 3rd party integrations between AMOS and external solutions, so crucial for any digitalization project.  Having a digital marketplace which allows seamless integration with the digital ecosystem and 3rd party integration for a range of services fully embedded within AMOS, underlines AMOS reputation as an open solution with a very high degree of integration.

    AMOS to AMOS.
    Next you will see the new AMOS to AMOS features. It may seem straightforward to assume that AMOS to AMOS transactions are effortless since both parties use AMOS, but in reality, there are important factors to consider to ensure a smooth process, such as business processes and unique company policies. AMOS to AMOS has therefore been produced to address the most common use cases faced by the AMOS Community and enable them to exchange data to better support their business.

  3. AI in AMOS: Amy AMOS Interactive Assistant; Inventory Optimization
    It seems that AI is never far from any discussion related to technology these days, and aviation, Swiss-AS and AMOS are affected as much as we all are even in our daily lives. During the Webinar the Swiss-AS team will introduce the first application of AI in AMOS: Amy, the AMOS interactive assistant who supports the end users in their daily life allowing them to ask Amy how to perform functions in AMOS based on the on-line documentation.  As you will see going forward Amy will also retrieve information from documents such as the MEL (if managed in AMOS) to further support specific user roles such as technicians.

    Additionally, Swiss-AS has worked with AVIATAR to identify where else AI can support users and with this in mind you will be briefly introduced to the new Inventory Optimization tool, which aims to drive efficiency, save costs and enable proactive material provisioning; all while providing automation and streamlining decision making.

  4. Introduction to the Digital Tech Ops Ecosystem
    For two years now Swiss-AS has been a part of a digital ecosystem put together by Lufthansa Technic. This section of the Webinar will highlight why this is an unrivalled benefit to the AMOS Community with four companies coming together to offer their distinctly different services in the form of Swiss-AS, AVIATAR, flydocs and LHT Engineering Services (AES). Individually each company is successful in their business segment but combined they can offer customers an unrivalled range of products that can be integrated seamlessly, relieving the burden that often comes with integrating products from different vendors.

  5. AMOS Demo: Line Maintenance Planning Optimization (LMPO) Tool
    Finally, you will see a demo of LMPO.  A pure product of the Digital TechOps Ecosystem, LMPO (Line Maintenance Planning Optimization), LMPO, aims to automate and continuously optimize short and mid-term maintenance planning, reduce manual effort and increase operational efficiency.​ This product demonstration will show just how LMPO will deliver continuous optimization with real-time updates, constraints andvisualization of planning data with immediate detection of constraint violations such as flight changes, availability of staff at maintenance locations, planned downtime not matching planned events, etc.

Every 2 weeks the Aircraft IT website hosts a different live Webinar, each Webinar hosted by a different IT Vendor. These sessions represent the perfect opportunity to learn about a software solution in a more informal manner and to quickly gain an in-depth knowledge of all the major systems on the market, all from the comfort of your own office or home with no sales pressure.

The IT vendor provides a live software demonstration/masterclass of their solution and explains how it can benefit airlines, MROs, Operators, OEMs, Leasing Companies. Once logged on, online delegates can ask questions via the interactive sections of the Webinar or simply sit back and watch and listen to the demonstration. There are two sessions during the day, each differently times to accommodate all time zones.

Each Webinar session is recorded, and an On-Demand version is then posted back to the Aircraft IT website a few days after the live session to allow you to view the content again with your colleagues.
