Register to view this On-demand Webinar (recorded 24th March 2022) for an excellent chance to see a full overview, and demos of some key features, plus the latest digital, mobile, and paperless developments of AMOS from Swiss-AS, one of the industry’s leading end-to-end modular aircraft M&E / MRO software solutions. During the Webinar, AMOS experts will take you on a brief tour of the full solution and its fully integrated modules, as used worldwide by nearly 200 customers of all sizes, from large national carriers and small regional airlines to specialist MRO facilities and Heli-operators. You will then see demos of some enhanced digital, mobile and paperless developments, such as: the new AMOSmobile/STORES App, built using new advanced technology, it allows store personnel to perform their daily tasks (picklist, shipping, transfer, etc.) using a mobile device; and the Electronic Work Instruction (EWI) solution, designed for mobile devices, it enables AMM tasks to be displayed as work instructions that can be signed off, using signature boxes generated automatically within AMOS, to indicate task completion. Finally, you will see some key AMOS features such as: AMOScentral, the secure solution for AMOS users to exchange data such as work packages and execution updates between an airline and their MRO facility; and you’ll get a look at the suite of APIs that AMOS offers (more than 300 available) ensuring seamless data exchange with third party solutions such as digital records, ETL/ELB, Ops Solutions, and more.
During the Webinar you will see demos of the following Apps and Solutions:
- AMOS Demo 1: AMOSmobile/STORES App
First you will see a demo of the new AMOSmobile/STORES App, built using a new technology stack (Flutter/Dart), it allows stores personnel to perform their daily tasks (picklist, shipping, transfer, stock / parts availability, etc.) using a mobile device, both online and offline, while out amongst the racks and fully connected to the main AMOS system.
- AMOS Demo 2: The Electronic Work Instruction for AMM Tasks with Work Packages
Next you will see the Electronic Work Instruction (EWI) which enhances paperless maintenance execution for line and base maintenance activities. The solution generates Electronic Work Instructions, including AMM tasks, for maintenance events exactly as they would usually appear on paper, but on a mobile device. As you will see, the solution integrates AMM references and tasks, linked to Events, Job Card or CR, to a PDF overlay on the mobile device, and generates signature boxes automatically with AMOS, so the work instructions can be signed off to indicate completion of each task.
EWI enables users to work easily on a mobile device with all the information required for each task and to have an easy access to other APNs in case some additional information is needed. As you will see it simplifies the back-office report of the work performed and gives the supervisor a clear overview of the work performed.
- Key Feature 1: AMOScentral – For secure Data and Information Exchange
Next you will see the unique and innovative AMOscentral feature. As you will see, by spanning a virtual cloud over all AMOS users, AMOScentral allows each AMOS customer to individually and securely open its platform, and to collaborate to the desired extent with other members of the AMOS community and beyond. Examples you will see include the exchange of key data such as work packages and execution updates between an airline and their MRO facility.
- Key Feature 2: APIs – Ensure Seamless Data Exchange with Third Party Solutions
Finally you will see an outline of the suite of APIs that AMOS offers (more than 300 available). As you will see AMOS remains at the forefront of integration and allows users to seamlessly exchange data with point solutions, such as digital records, ETL/ELB, Operations Solutions, Boeing Toolbox, Airbus FTS, Finance and HR Systems, and more.
About the Aircraft IT Webinar Series:
Every 2 weeks the Aircraft IT website hosts a different live Webinar, each Webinar hosted by a different IT Vendor. These sessions represent the perfect opportunity to learn about a software solution in a more informal manner and to quickly gain an in-depth knowledge of all the major systems on the market, all from the comfort of your own office or home with no sales pressure.
The IT vendor provides a live software demonstration/masterclass of their solution and explains how it can benefit airlines, MROs, Operators, OEMs, Leasing Companies. Once logged on, online delegates can ask questions via the interactive sections of the Webinar or simply sit back and watch and listen to the demonstration. There are two sessions during the day, each differently times to accommodate all time zones.
Each Webinar session is recorded, and an On-Demand version is then posted back to the Aircraft IT website a few days after the live session to allow you to view the content again with your colleagues. The library of On-Demand Webinar recordings provides an invaluable reference source of Flight Operations software demonstrations from the World’s leading Flight Operations IT Vendors.
