Webinar Overview

Register to attend this Webinar to see the latest advances in long-range aircraft maintenance planning systems, with a demo of the popular Aerros solution from Aerostrat. As you will see, Aerros, as used worldwide by airlines, operators, and MROs, such as Alaska Airlines, JetBlue, FedEx, Southwest, Azul, Virgin Australia and more, provides base maintenance planning teams, large and small, with the key tools and advanced functionality needed to make building, maintaining, and iterating long-range maintenance plans painless. Using demos of the solution, the Aerostrat team will showcase key features, such as how the platform utilizes unlimited what-if scenarios to understand and proactively adapt to changing constraints and questions, such as updating the fleet plan, adjusting for labor availability, and making allocation changes. As you will see, these plan changes can then be shared with stakeholders, both internal and external, via the read-only Production schedule serving as a single source of truth for all users. Next you will see the key timeline feature, where planners have a bird’s eye view of any scheduled and unscheduled (such as HMV checks, C checks, ad-hoc maintenance, etc.) requirements.  As you will see, Timeline helps to serve as an audit tool to ensure all maintenance requirements are scheduled ahead of due dates. The demos will then walk you through specific use-cases and workflows. You will see: Aircraft Allocations, ensuring the right aircraft are available at the right time and place, so that maintenance can happen smoothly without delays; Blocking Maintenance Lines, to make sure there’s a dedicated slot in the hangar with resources and personnel when a heavy check is due; Parking Aircraft, showing how planners identify an aircraft nearing a scheduled check and coordinate its parking at a location with available maintenance capacity. The demos will provide great real-world examples of how Aerros is saving planning teams time and resources, and making sure aircraft stay in compliance.

In addition to planning the optimum maintenance schedules, you will see how Aerros provides decision makers with the data they need to make quantitative decisions with a review of the metric page. As you will see, Aerostrat customers are able to ingest Aerros data to publish custom reports and combine data models with Aerros data to build rolling budgets and communicate critical planning information companywide.  This provides a deep understanding of maintenance costs with the ability to quickly iterate and understand the future financial impacts of choices made today.

The Webinar is divided into 5 key sections:

  1. Aerostrat Overview and Aerros Roadmap (Component and Line Maintenance Planning)
Aerostrat was founded in 2015 and is the fastest growing and largest company in the maintenance planning space. Today, Aerros plans over 4000 aircraft for both MROs and Operators, and works for airlines of any size, fleet type, and configuration. The Aerros customer base has grown rapidly, and earlier this year, Aerostrat held its second user-conference. As you will see, Aerostrat adapts and innovates quickly with a customer-obsessed focus. You will learn about the product roadmap, which is shaped by customers and developed in collaboration with them to build key features that meet their evolving needs, such as component maintenance planning, and line maintenance planning.
  1. Aerros Key Features Overview: Timeline, What-If Capabilities
First you will see a baseline understanding of how Aerros is structured, and how that structure enables operational efficiency at its core. As you will see, the structure allows users to input the aircraft fleet, maintenance requirements, signoff responsibilities, and more, providing the data to generate a single source of truth maintenance schedule, as well as providing the functionality to generate unlimited what-if scenarios to optimize maintenance checks.

You will see key landing pages that will give you a strong understanding of how users interact with the platform to view, maintain, and share their maintenance schedules day-to-day.  This section will highlight the most foundational features, including the read-only production schedule and scenario (what-if) capabilities.

You will also learn about the Timeline feature giving planners a bird’s eye view of any scheduled and unscheduled requirements (including HMV checks, C checks, ad-hoc maintenance, and more).  You will be shown how Timeline helps to serve as an audit tool which will ensure all maintenance requirements have been scheduled ahead of due dates.

To complete this section, Aerostrat experts will show you how Aerros provides decision makers with essential data with which to make quantitative decisions, as well as a review of the metric page. You will be shown how Aerostrat customers can ingest Aerros data in order to publish custom reports and combine data models with Aerros data to build rolling budgets and communicate critical planning information companywide providing a deep understanding of maintenance costs with the ability to quickly iterate and understand the future financial impacts of choices made today.

  2. Aerros Demo 1: Aircraft Allocations
This demo will look at how to use Aircraft allocations within Aerros. Allocations play a critical role in planning effective maintenance operations by ensuring the correct aircraft are available at the right time and place, in order that maintenance can be carried out smoothly without delays. Planners will then be able to avoid disruptions by scheduling heavy checks during downtime. Proper allocation makes it easier to have the right people and parts available when needed, which keeps the fleet running safely and reliably.

  3. Aerros Demo 2: Blocking Maintenance lines
Next, the demo will give an overview of how to block maintenance lines using Aerros. This is a crucial step in planning aircraft maintenance, as it makes sure that there’s a dedicated slot in a hanger as well as resources, and personnel. In this demo, Aerostrat will show how planners use Aerros to identify when a heavy check is due on an aircraft and then block a maintenance line at a specific hangar. This reserved slot for scheduled work minimizes delays and maximizes efficiencyhelping everything run smoothly and stay up to standard.

  4. Aerros Demo 3: Parking Aircrafts
In the final demo you will learn how to park an aircraft in Aerros, and why parking aircraft is a valuable tool in maintenance planning. As you will see strategic aircraft parking is key to smooth maintenance planning, ensuring planes are parked where maintenance teams and tools are ready, and reducing delays. During this demo, the Aerostrat team will demonstrate how planners identify an aircraft nearing a scheduled check and coordinate its parking at a location with available maintenance capacity.

About the Aircraft IT Webinar Series:

Every 2 weeks the Aircraft IT website hosts a different live Webinar, each Webinar hosted by a different IT Vendor. These sessions represent the perfect opportunity to learn about a software solution in a more informal manner and to quickly gain an in-depth knowledge of all the major systems on the market, all from the comfort of your own office or home with no sales pressure.

The IT vendor provides a live software demonstration/masterclass of their solution and explains how it can benefit airlines, MROs, Operators, OEMs, Leasing Companies. Once logged on, online delegates can ask questions via the interactive sections of the Webinar or simply sit back and watch and listen to the demonstration. There are two sessions during the day, each differently times to accommodate all time zones.

Each Webinar session is recorded, and an On-Demand version is then posted back to the Aircraft IT website a few days after the live session to allow you to view the content again with your colleagues. The library of On-Demand Webinar recordings provides an invaluable reference source of Flight Operations software demonstrations from the World’s leading Flight Operations IT Vendors.
