BYTRON’s Full Webinar Preview:  BYTRON’s skybook®eFB; Closing the Loop 2012

It has been almost a year since our last Webinar on the Aircraft IT portal which attracted over 95 airlines worldwide.  More and more aircraft operators are looking for that perfect EFB solution to enhance their day-to-day operations.  Here at BYTRON, we don’t believe in the ‘one solution fits all’ mentality, having developed an EFB software package that is modular in design and can therefore be tailored to suit the specific requirements of you, the customer.  While we may not be able to provide every part of your EFB (we don’t think anyone can for that matter!), we certainly have the partnerships formed within the industry to provide you a complete solution, creating the fully connected aircraft.

This webinar is a great opportunity for you to see the developments and improvements made to our EFB software solution; skybook ®eFB, over the past 12 months.  skybook ®eFB (Electronic Flight Bag Class I & Class II, available on Windows platforms and Apple iPad) continues the BYTRON tradition of innovative products and services.  It has the ability to provide a truly integrated approach to make the transition from traditional legacy methods easier, increasing levels of communication and making the aircraft fully connected.  This is what we call ‘closing the loop’.

Modules Include:

  • Tech Log
  • Flight Folder
  • Voyage
  • Library
  • Cabin Crew

The webinar will include product demonstrations of both the EFB software, and our ground-based software (skybook ®.aero) that supports the whole application.  We will then explore the main challenges facing aircraft operators in the EFB market place as well as giving our advice on building your business case.  Lastly, we are proud to be able to share with you our experience of working with our launch customer; TNT Airways.

About the Aircraft IT Webinar Series:

Every 2 weeks the Aircraft IT website hosts a different live Webinar, each Webinar hosted by a different IT Vendor. These sessions represent the perfect opportunity to learn about a software solution in a more informal manner and to quickly gain an in-depth knowledge of all the major systems on the market, all from the comfort of your own office or home with no sales pressure.

The IT vendor provides a live software demonstration/masterclass of their solution and explains how it can benefit airlines, MROs, Operators, OEMs, Leasing Companies. Once logged on, online delegates can ask questions via the interactive sections of the Webinar or simply sit back and watch and listen to the demonstration. There are two sessions during the day, each differently times to accommodate all time zones.

Each Webinar session is recorded, and an On-Demand version is then posted back to the Aircraft IT website a few days after the live session to allow you to view the content again with your colleagues. The library of On-Demand Webinar recordings provides an invaluable reference source of MRO software demonstrations from the World’s leading MRO IT Vendors.
