Air France PilotPad EFB deployment

In 2010, just as the iPad was released, OpenAirlines developed CrewPad™, an innovative Cabin Crew CRM solution based on the revolutionary iPad.

Less than a year later, it was asked by Air France to conduct a feasibility study on the use of the iPad as an EFB.

This led to a prototype of an FCOM XML documentation reader and to the development of Air France’s “PilotPad” now deployed to more than 4 500 pilots.
