STRONG RESULT AND ESSENTIAL DEVELOPMENTS

The year 2010 was marked by substantial year end profits and innovative progress at Swiss AviationSoftware (Swiss-AS):

New customers and revenue: In the past 12 months AMOS has attracted 14 new customers from all over the world. This enables Swiss-AS to announce another outstanding year in terms of the number of new customers and turnover/EBIT. These impressive facts once again demonstrate that Swiss-AS has gained a leading footprint in the MRO software market.

Expansion: Since autumn 2010, AMOS is now represented in Miami, Florida to promote the marketing of the Swiss MRO software solution in the Americas. While being the market leader in Europe and having a substantial market share in other parts of the world, Swiss-AS intends to intensify its presence in the US where its potential is well-known to the MRO software industry.

E-learning: In the spring, Swiss-AS launched its new e-learning training approach. The decision to introduce a web based training stems from the idea to offer customers an innovative and contemporary alternative to the conventional classroom.

AMOS Strategic Board (ASB): This committee consists of representatives of the different AMOS customer groups and its meeting took place in the Swiss-AS’ headquarters in April 2010. The ASB workshops are intended to define the middle and long-term strategic developments of AMOS and are very popular with AMOS users.

Database independency: During the last two years, the Swiss-AS’ R&D team has been working at full speed on the database independency of AMOS, and Swiss-AS is pleased to announce that this project was finished on schedule by the end of 2010. The next step now is to start extensive testing of AMOS in the new environment. The database that will be supported first is Oracle, followed by MS SQL.
