WestJet set Phase 1 of their FuelPlus EFM installation successfully into production.
After just four months from the initial user workshops, the joint implementation project team delivered FuelPlus modules for Planning, Contract Management, Inventory Management, Operations, and Accounting to the WestJet fuel group. Phase 1, completed in time and under budget, enables WestJet to automate fuel volume forecast and budget planning, fuel price maintenance, inventory monitoring, and invoice reconciliation.
In the second phase, scheduled for delivery by June 30, the implementation team will provide additional modules for Tendering, Supply Chain Management, and Tankering. Furthermore, FuelPlus has also implemented inventory valuation using FIFO methodology and is working with WestJet on the automation of their de-icing accounting process.
