Malmö, Sweden; 23 May, 2022: Web Manuals, the world leader in digitalizing manuals for the aviation industry, is celebrating 10 years since the company was founded.

Based in Sweden, Web Manuals was created in 2012 to serve aviation professionals and utilize technology to simplify the editing and reviewing of the industry’s vast number of compliance regulations and manuals. The digitized process intends to save operators time and administrative costs while improving compliance and flight safety.

Web Manuals has grown substantially over the past decade and now has offices in Malmö, San Diego, and Singapore. The organization currently has more than 440 customers around the world covering a wide range of aviation sectors, including cargo, airlines, business jets, flight schools, drones, and UAVs.

Martin Lidgard, CEO and founder at Web Manuals, says: “Web Manuals set out with the mission to use a cloud-based application to provide a simplified and digital process for reviewing aviation manuals, enhancing control, compliance, and agility. I’m proud to say this has become a reality, with so many clients realizing the benefits of our document management platform. I look forward to continuing to grow our customer base and service offering over the next decade.”

Hans-Erik Viklund, head of training at OSM Aviation Academy, a Web Manuals customer since 2012, says; “Web Manuals has simplified all aspects of regulation management and its platform makes updating manuals a hassle-free task. As a pilot myself, I’m aware of the huge number of flight manuals, particularly related to training, so a digitized process that enables us to update the documents efficiently is key to our operations.

“We’ve been with Web Manuals for more than a decade and the company has continuously adapted its interface to make the process simpler and our operations more streamlined. Here’s to another 10 years!”
