Swiss-AS’ first drone contract
After a short but intensive evaluation period of only four months UMS SKELDAR AG signed with Swiss-AS the first AMOS contract for the management of maintenance and engineering of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS). This new cooperation will be reinforced by the geography of the companies as both headquarters are based in the same area in Switzerland. Swiss-AS looks forward to develop a professional long lasting relationship around the flying robot technology and its specific needs in terms of M&E software.

In this context, Ronald Schaeuffele, CEO of Swiss-AS, stated: “Stepping into the globally operating drone industry with the Company UMS SKELDAR AG is a prestigious opportunity we didn’t want to miss. This new project shows once again how AMOS can be flexible and customised to such a specific technology.”

AMOS also appropriated for drone technology
Swiss-AS offered UMS SKELDAR a leaned and hosted version of AMOS consisting in the use of only the high-end AMOS core modules. A tailored training and implementation plan, including project management, consulting and data transfer support was an economical choice and the perfect IT solution for the specialised and high-tech activities of UMS SKELDAR AG.

The implementation starting these days is scheduled to be completed already by Q2 2016 showing the focused way of working that companies share.
