- Thales and Japan Airlines celebrate the entry into service of the first Boeing 777-200 retrofit with AVANT.
- Japan Airlines is a valued Thales customer. The first ever Asian airline to equip their Boeing 787 with AVANT and now the first to install it on a fleet retrofit.
- The airline also operates Thales IFE systems on their Boeing 767, Boeing 777 and Boeing 787 aircraft, flying across domestic and international routes.
