COPENHAGEN, DENMARK – International Flight Support (IFS) announces that Swiftair, a leading Spanish cargo and passenger operator, has selected the EFBOne platform to standardize and digitize across its diverse fleet, replacing paper-based processes with a fully integrated electronic flight bag (EFB) workflow.

Prior to implementing EFBOne, Swiftair’s flight crews faced a heavy administrative workload. A single flight could require nearly 30 pages of printed reports, in addition to briefing packages containing hundreds of pages, with NOTAMs alone reaching up to 50 pages per sector. Managing multiple paper documents increased workload, slowed operational reporting, and introduced avoidable complexity for flight crews making operational reporting inefficient.

With EFBOne, Swiftair consolidates flight planning, flight scheduling, performance data, charts, and operational reporting into one platform, allowing crews to execute the full flight workflow digitally without switching applications or handling paper.

During the review phase, Swiftair’s EFB Administrators tested and validated the system’s configuration capabilities, confirming they could independently set up occurrence reporting, workflows, and cockpit layouts in line with the airline’s SOPs. This enables Swiftair to adapt swiftly to operational and regulatory changes, support multiple fleet types, and manage the platform internally without reliance on external support.
“Working with Swiftair from the early stages allowed us to align closely on technical, operational, and regulatory requirements to ensure EFBOne met their specific needs,” said Yuliia Dolko, EFB Expert at International Flight Support. “The SwiftAir team was highly engaged and detail-oriented throughout the project. We are pleased to have them onboard and look forward to a long-term collaboration.”
“For Swiftair, as an operator of a large fleet of different manufacturers and aircraft types, both cargo and passenger, the flexibility and configurability offered by EFBOne is a cornerstone of our business, “ said Miguel Ángel Fernández Ramos, Flight Operations Manager at Swiftair. “It not only digitizes our cockpits and eliminates paper, but it also integrates data from our back-office systems and supports operational analysis, which is essential for a company like Swiftair.”
He added: “The user interface and configuration tool (NEO) are key to increasing flexibility across fleets, reducing training timelines, and supporting scalability and adaptation to changing regulatory requirements in the aviation sector. Overall, the IFS team has lived up to expectations, providing support at the level expected for large companies in the aeronautical sector.”
