Implementation project successfully completed

After 12 months of project work, Swiss-AS is delighted to announce the go-live of AMOS at Braathens Technical in Sweden. The major modules were smoothly put into operation via a big bang approach whereas modules such as Publication Management or Shift Planning will be implemented at a later stage. AMOS is now used by 100 Braathens employees, who received e-learning and classroom training to gain the necessary AMOS knowledge.

During the pre-sales phase, the Braathens management took advantage of their network in the aviation industry and visited AMOS customers for information regarding the suitability of AMOS for their live operation.

It is worth mentioning that the Swedish MRO provider uses AMOS “as is” since it covers all of their requirements and no customisations were needed.

“I am delighted now being operational with the AMOS system after a year of exciting and hard work by the project team. It is critical to have a system in place that is easy to work with, give employees at all levels a good oversight and creates opportunities to increase our efficiency. AMOS is a system that fulfils these requirements. I am also confident that AMOS is being continuous developed to meet also tomorrow’s requirements”, says Per Andersson, CEO Braathens Technical.

Launching customer for latest NetLine/Ops version

Braathens Technical is providing MRO services for Malmö Aviation, the official launch customer for NetLine/Ops 9 from Lufthansa Systems. As a result, Swiss-AS was in the lucky position to test the existing AMOS interfaces to the MaintenanceControl module of NetLine/Ops at an early stage, and is very pleased to inform its customers about the compatibility of AMOS and the latest version of NetLine/Ops MaintenanceControl .
