As Germany’s leading business jet charter provider, DC Aviation has one of the largest fleets in Europe. The philosophy of DC Aviation is the passion for quality in Business Jet Charter, Aircraft Management and Aircraft Maintenance – and with this aim, DC Aviation decided to use the single-sync Electronic Flight Bag solution Logipad© on iPads in flight operations.

Logipad© as a single-sync EFB solution guarantees flexible and scalable information handling on ground and in the air. The implementation of an EFB requires several types of components and products. Challenges are implementing all needed information and enabling them in operations.

Logipad© supplies a standardized platform to distribute data to several EFB devices, like Windows-based laptop, tablet, iPad or Class-II devices.

The basic setup of the Logipad© iPad solution – which is used by DC Aviation – contains a dedicated system and backend infrastructure for the customer running in the high-available data center of T&A SYSTEME in Germany. This EFB system includes the following features:

  • Document Library
  • eReporting
  • EFB App Store
  • Mobile Device Management
  • News Feed
  • Web Interface
  • Transfer Folder

The main benefit of Logipad© is the single synchronization process: By pushing the button once all data will be synchronized from the ground service to the EFB device or vice versa.

From now on, DC Aviation optimizes their information workflow on ground and in the air by using the solution of Logipad© on iPad devices – 2 per airplane.
