SAS selects eMan Solution

AviIT Ltd. welcomes the news that Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has selected the eMan solution to streamline the management of its technical publications library. eMan was selected after a comprehensive tender and evaluation process that sought to identify a solution that could replace several existing systems, as well as providing a platform for the evolution of the technical library.

“We wanted a system that would replace existing legacy systems”, comments Torbjorn Haglind, Lead Engineer Maintenance data. “Like many operators, we have also experienced a changing environment with technical publications available in a variety of forms from simple pdf documents through to increasingly complex vendor supplied applications. We wanted a single system that would co-exist with our recently implemented AMOS solution while providing a simple means of delivering the wide range of document types to our engineers and technicians where ever they are located. The eMan solution fits our requirements perfectly, and taking up references showed that AviIT team has a strong record of commitment to supporting their clients”.

Kevin Clark, AviIT Chief Operating Officer is delighted that eMan has been selected by SAS. “We know that SAS has a reputation for high quality in all aspects of its service and the brief to replace existing systems, along with the vision for the technical library function and to provide a smooth implementation with minimal impact on existing operations, was always going to be a demanding one. We are therefore delighted to have been selected to provide eMan. This will be delivered as a managed service and SAS were able to draw confidence from the fact that over 80% of our eMan clients operate in this way. It’s an honour to be working with SAS.”
