Safety Line, Chosen by Safran as a Finalist for the Hello Tomorrow Challenge.

The “Hello Tomorrow Challenge” is a global startup competition taking place during the Hello Tomorrow Global Summit and rewarding the most promising science-technology projects that aim to solve the world’s pressing issues.

The Paris-based event aims to accelerate science & technology innovation by empowering startups with connections with investors and industrials. It brings together a selection of high profile entrepreneurs, top investors, Hello Tomorrow Partners and other executives (NASA, IBM, Google[x], etc.), scientists and media.

This year, 69 projects have been chosen out of 3500 applicants to be finalists for different categories such as Air Quality, Industry 4.0, energy, transportation & mobility, etc…

SAFRAN, the French multinational aircraft engine company is the official sponsor for the Aeronautics category and chose seven startups from the aerospace sector to take part in the challenge, including Safety Line. The Grand Finale will be held on 14th October 2016 and will reward the most convincing project.

“It’s obviously going to be a very tough choice, because all projects presented by these startups have excellent possibilities in our sector,” said Laurent Deleville, head of Collaborative Innovation at Safran and a member of the Safran jury.
