Safety Line appoints François Chazelle as Chief Commercial Officer
Safety Line, an innovative service provider applying Big Data solutions to air transport, is pleased to announce that François Chazelle, an experienced Sales Executive and aviation expert, is joining its growing team from mid-August.

François Chazelle will be joining from Aviation Finance Company (AFC), where he was Managing Director Sales, in charge of originating private placement aircraft financing opportunities with airlines and lessors worldwide.
In his prior role as an Executive with Airbus, where he worked for 12 years, Francois was in charge of the team marketing and selling Airbus Corporate Jets worldwide. Prior to that, he also spent 10 years opening new markets for the aviation technical services of Bureau Veritas.

“Safety Line is today at a turning point. Having completed a successful Research and Development program for its new product OptiClimb, a unique Big Data solution allowing airlines to save 10% fuel during Climb, the focus is now on rolling it out to airline customers. As it is a major opportunity for the industry to perform savings and reduce aviation’s carbon footprint, the challenge is to implement it with airlines as quickly as possible, and François, with his experience and network within aviation will be a major asset for the success of OptiClimb and Safety Line“ said Pierre Jouniaux, founder and CEO of Safety Line.

François Chazelle said “I am excited to join Safety Line at a stage where they have a proven product with OptiClimb, that will allow airlines worldwide to save fuel and reduce their carbon footprint thanks to a unique and innovative Big Data approach“.
