PSIPENTA Awarded Contract by EURO-COMPOSITES Group

ERP/MES solution for optimisation of production planning and control

Berlin, 18 April 2013 –PSI subsidiary PSIPENTA Software Systems GmbH has been contracted by the EURO-COMPOSITES Group, a specialist for the production of complex composites, with the implementation of the ERP and MES standard PSIpenta.

Along with the classical ERP core PSIpenta, the company will implement the MES module control centre, shop floor data acquisition and personnel time recording as well as a solution for mobile data collection. With the new software solution, EURO-COMPOSITES will optimise its production planning and control.

PSIPENTA, on the basis of the distinct specialisation of its software solutions for production processes and its strong references in the aerospace industry and mechanical engineering, asserted itself in the selection process against very strong competition.

The EURO-COMPOSITES Group, headquartered in Luxemburg, is one of the world’s leading producers of complex composites for various industries. The primary business is the production of cutting-edge honeycomb substances, sandwich panels, laminates and moulded and milled composite components from various basic materials. For the commercial aerospace industry EURO-COMPOSITES produces, amongst other things, galleys, wing sections, various composite components, crew rest compartments and engine cowls. The company employs a staff of 743 and had sales of 106.5 million euros in 2012.
