PAL Group moves forward with AMOS

Swiss-AS is pleased to announce that flag carrier Philippine Airlines has chosen AMOS as its prime MRO software solution.

AMOS, to be implemented in phases, will support the airline’s strategy to insource its line maintenance activities and perform certain M&E services in-house. First phase involves the airline’s narrow body fleet of around 48 aircraft to be managed using the system. The remaining fleet will follow in the near future.

PAL is expected to benefit from the comprehensive software package’s industry-proven processes in terms of further improving its MRO efficiency and reliability.

Ronald Schaeuffele, CEO of Swiss-AS states: ”By welcoming this new AMOS community member from the Philippines on board, we can today gladly state that the AMOS branch office in Singapore is receiving excellent feedback in the Asia Pacific region.”

“With the integration of this world-class product into our system, we are certain to boost PAL’s record as one of Asia-Pacific’s best full-service carrier both in terms of safety and service,” says PAL president and COO Ramon S. Ang.
