The US-based regional airline CommutAir signed a contract with NAVBLUE to implement N-Ops & Crew (N-OC) and N-Flight Planning (N-FP).
CommutAir, who currently uses N-Preferential Bidding System (N-PBS) for both pilots and cabin crew, will enhance their operational productivity with the N-OC and N-FP solutions by enhancing and automating the workflow between departments while reducing costs. Additionally, as all stakeholders will have access to information in real-time the OCC collaborative decision making will be improved.
N-Ops & Crew will enable CommutAir to manage long term planning as well as day-of-ops on a single platform. N-Ops & Crew will enable CommutAir to plan and distribute their network schedules, maintain full operations control with configurable operating rules, as well as manage and optimize crew schedule planning, day-of-ops crew control, crew training and qualifications, and crew mobile access.
N-Flight Planning, the fully scalable web-based flight plan optimization solution will allow CommutAir to create the safest and most cost-effective routes for their operations. Integration with N-OC will offer quick response times for day-of operation changes and ensure everyone in the OCC is on the same page.
Thomas Lagaillarde, Vice President Product Portfolio & Programmes at NAVBLUE, said: “It is a privilege for NAVBLUE to extend our partnership with CommutAir and provide them with our N-Ops & Crew and N-Flight Planning solutions. CommutAir will be able to significantly improve their operational efficiency while reducing costs. We are sure N-Ops & Crew and N-Flight Planning will be a game changer for CommutAir and we will assist them at every stage to ensure they fully benefit from these solutions. NAVBLUE looks forward to continuing our collaboration and supporting CommutAir Flight Operations strategic objectives and activities, now and into the future.”
