Raunheim/Bengaluru, 27th November 2025. Lufthansa Systems is pleased to announce the official establishment of its newest subsidiary, Lufthansa Systems India, headquartered in Bengaluru. This strategic expansion marks a significant milestone in the company’s global growth strategy and reinforces its commitment to delivering high-quality IT services to more than 350 airline customers worldwide, including the Lufthansa Group.

Lufthansa Systems India will be a key part of the Global Capability Center (GCC), developed by Lufthansa Systems in collaboration with the Indian IT company Infosys. The GCC will leverage state-of-the-art technologies, encompassing AI-driven innovations, to accelerate software and product development for both Lufthansa Group and its external airline customers.

With the addition of Lufthansa Systems India, the company now operates in 19 locations with a global workforce of around 3,100 employees. Bengaluru joins the company’s strategic location portfolio alongside major hubs in Gdańsk and Budapest, further enhancing its international delivery capabilities.

The establishment of the new location in India marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in Lufthansa Systems’ journey toward a smarter, more connected future in aviation technology.
