Kalstar Aviation Selects Alkym to Support the Airline’s Technical Operation

Jan 26th 2016 – Asian Client Base Continues to Grow

Seabury MRO Solutions today welcomed a new client in Asia as the company’s regional client base continues to increase. Kalstar Aviation, an Indonesian airline based in Jakarta, has selected Alkym® Management and Control System for Aircraft Maintenance to ensure it has world-class software at the core of its technical operation.

“We have been working through the robust selection process with the Kalstar team for the past eighteen months. It is always great news when the process highlights your product as the best-in-class for their operation,” commented John Barry Seabury MRO Solutions Senior Vice President. “Once again our ability to provide the highest quality integrated software within the budget of a growing airline was critical to the successful outcome.”

Abdul Haris Mulyana, Vice President with Kalstar Aviation, further commented: “We firstly set about the process to ensure our Technical Team got exactly what was needed to increase our fleet availability and reliability whilst continuing to have the highest safety and quality standards. It was only when they identified the suitable software systems we begin to consider the other key aspects like vendor track record and pricing. Seabury MRO Solutions with its proven solution already deployed in the region successfully proved they could deliver on all our criteria.”

Alkym® Management and Control System for Aircraft Maintenance is one of the most comprehensive and cost-effective solutions designed specifically for the MRO industry. It has over eighteen different modules that are aimed to increase operational efficiency, reduce costs, improve performance, and maximize productivity while enhancing growth and meeting future challenges.

The Seabury MRO Solutions’ project team will be on site in Jakarta in early 2016 with the team ensuring that Kalstar Aviation gets the maximum benefit from the twenty concurrent users of Alkym license they have elected to begin with.
