Shannon, Ireland. August 2014// Volartec have the pleasure to announce Island Transvoyager, Inc. (ITI Air) to be the launch customer in South East Asia. With the latest ATR 42-500 addition to the fleet, ITI sought a suitable Maintenance Management System to manage its expanding fleet. The first ATR 42 will be added to Alkym Management and Control System for Aircraft Maintenance as part of the implementation project which is currently under way. 

John Barry, SVP Business Development with Volartec greeted the latest customer “With Aerosapience, our sales partner in this region, we took part in an extensive RFP process which allowed ITI examine which system would give them best value for their budget. ITI set out to get the maximum functionality within a budget. Alkym offered exactly this option proving once again start-up and expanding airlines are our key market.”

With the project team onsite at ITI this month they will have the first aircraft loaded and Alkym in a Live operating environment by the end of August. These swift implementation times are unmatched.
