  • Go-lives performed on-time

More than 120 aircraft now managed in AMOS
Swiss-AS is proud to announce the smooth and timely go-live of AMOS at Aeromexico, Mexico’s global airline.

Already at the end of last year, the airline with its Boeing fleet went live with AMOS. Since this year also the Embraer fleet is fully managed in AMOS. Much of the project success is due to Aeromexico’s skilled and well organised team who attended to all details of this complex implementation project while always keeping an eye on the project milestones to be reached in time and within budget.

“Congratulations to Aeromexico! The commitment of all members of the Aeromexico maintenance and IT organization from the end users up to the management made this implementation an example of meticulous and efficient project management, resulting in on-time go-lives,” says Ronald Schaeuffele, CEO of Swiss-AS.

More innovation to come

As an airline who is at all times carefully assessing the potential of innovations and striving for synergies, the go-live of AMOS is only the beginning of a continued improvement process: Aeromexico is already planning the further adoption of emerging technologies in aircraft maintenance and will soon introduce e-signature and AMOSmobile. By equipping all line and shop mechanics with mobile devices, the technical staff can raise and record maintenance activities right at the aircraft, share data across departmental boundaries in real time and of course support the initiative to introduce e-signature.

“We are pleased to be part of this project that allows us to keep innovating and striving for new technologies thanks to our partner Swiss-AS. This announcement reflects our continuous commitment to have the best technological resources and as consequence the highest safety standards”, adds Benjamín Hernández, CIO of Aeromexico.
