French Institut For Research Sets Up A Joint Lab With Safety Line

After several years working hand in hand, Safety Line and the French Institute for Research in Computer Science and Automation (INRIA) have decided to found a common laboratory.

The collaboration between the start-up and the Research Establishment started in 2013 and aimed at designing an identification and optimization tool integrated in the OptiClimb software. Thanks to INRIA’s support, Safety Line is offering the aeronautical industry a solution that reduces aircraft fuel consumption during flight. Transavia France successfully tested the solution and confirmed the expected and significant savings.

These positive results encouraged the two partners to carry on the collaboration in order to offer other common and innovative solutions.
