Flatirons Solutions to Open New Subsidiary in France
November 6, 2015

To Support Growth of European Business

Flatiron Solutions, a global provider of technical information management solutions for knowledge-driven industries including aviation, aerospace, shipping, rail, energy, and defense, is proud to announce plans to open a new subsidiary in France.

As home to several of the world’s leading aviation and defense Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and operators, including top manufacturers of airframes, engines, and components, France represents an important target market for Flatirons. “Success in France is a key to our company’s long-term growth strategy,” said Flatirons CEO Geoffrey Godet. “Our team is well-equipped to meet the needs of French industry, and a local subsidiary and staff presence will help us to provide the highest possible levels of service to customers and partners in France,” concluded Godet.

Flatirons also recently opened a subsidiary in Dubai to serve customers, prospects, and partners in the Middle East, and prior to that established entities in the United Kingdom, India, and China to better support those regions. By establishing local subsidiaries in the geographies in which customers operate, Flatirons believes it can be more responsive to their needs, as well as more aligned with their culture, priorities, and business strategies.

The French subsidiary will complement Flatirons’ growing operational footprint in Europe, comprised of sites in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and Germany. The move will support French adoption of CORENA Suite, which is already in use at some of the world’s largest airlines, defense forces, and aviation OEMs to better manage their complex technical information.
