Commsoft, a world leader in aviation engineering and maintenance systems, is delighted to announce that its Open Aviation Strategic Engineering System (OASES) has been selected by Falko Regional Aircraft Limited to support its extensive and growing portfolio of leased aircraft.
A market-leading asset manager in the regional aircraft arena, Falko has specialised for some years in the management of BAe146/Avro RJ aircraft but, with plans to increase both the size and diversity of its portfolio, has recently acquired eight Boeing 717-200s.
Falko plans to begin using OASES immediately within Commsoft’s own hosted environment and will be importing data, initially, for BAe146/Avro RJ aircraft in its portfolio. Looking forward, Falko intends to use OASES to support the offer of CAMO services to future customers.
Designed to combine ease of use with a technical sophistication that allows for the full integration of all maintenance and engineering functions, OASES is structured in a modular format and Falko will be using the Core, Airworthiness, Planning and Materials Management modules.
Nick Godwin, Commsoft Managing Director, commented: “Given Falko’s exciting plans for expansion, we’re delighted that they have chosen OASES. The system is designed to expand in line with the requirements of its users and the fact that we are able to offer a hosted environment means that clients don’t need to make any costly investments before reaping the benefits that OASES can provide. We’re looking forward to being an important partner in the ongoing future of Falko.”
John Williamson, Falko SVP Technical Operations, commented: “We are delighted to be working with Commsoft as part of our growth strategy. We are about to complete the approval process to become an EASA Part M Subpart G continuing airworthiness management organisation as well as launching a new spares business to further enhance our capabilities and to provide a dedicated and focused support to our customer base. After careful consideration and evaluation of the various products on the market, Falko concluded that Commsoft’s OASES System stood out from the competition and was able to meet and exceed our tailored specification requirements for future growth and expanding aircraft portfolio. We were also very impressed with Commsoft’s support team throughout the evaluation phase and their demonstrated commitment regarding future support of OASES and very much look forward to working with them on a long term basis”
