Dunfermline, UK – 5 February 2014 – AviIT Ltd is delighted to announce that Ian Cooke has joined its eMan Business Development Team. Ian brings many years of technical sales experience and has most recently been working with aircraft operators across the globe to enhance their passenger cabin experience. In his new role, Ian will focus on ensuring that the eMan document management and distribution solution is presented to the widest possible market.
“We significantly expanded our eMan development activities over the last 18 months to increase both its functionality and general market appeal. Enhanced support for mobile platforms and subscription management capabilities are just a couple of examples that have generated considerable interest,” notes Kevin Clark, Chief Operating Officer of AviIT. “eMan has already established a committed user base and Ian has joined us at a time when the solution has never been more rounded. We offer both enterprise deployment and a hosted, managed service solution with the latter accounting for the bulk of recent implementations.”
Ian Cooke, Business Development Manager, is equally enthusiastic. “eMan is a straightforward proposition. Delivery of technical documents to users wherever they are, on a wide range of platforms thereby greatly simplifying a complex yet critical part of the maintenance process. It can comfortably co-exist with the existing MRO systems and can operate on current IT infrastructure or even be hosted externally by AviIT. It quickly delivers real benefits which makes for a very exciting sales proposition.”
AviIT provides the aviation sector with a range of innovative and cost-effective software product solutions to specific business issues. AviIT’s products are based on the latest thin client, web based and mobile software technologies enabling access to complex and critical information anytime, anywhere, over any network. eMan users include BMI Regional, Virgin Atlantic Airways, airberlin technik, Royal Canadian Mounted Police Air Services, Metro Aviation, Era Helicopters, and Greenwich AeroGroup.
