DAC International secure Fokker 50 EASA Approval on Universal Flight Management System with LPV

DAC International, a Greenwich AeroGroup company, announced today that it has received European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approval and Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approval on its UNS-1Lw Flight Management System.

The UNS-1Lw FMS and LP/LPV Monitor provides capability for point-to-point navigation as well as All ARINC 424 Leg types including RF, SIDs, STARs, holding patterns and instrument approaches. And the UNS-1Lw allows a seamless operation from take-off down to the landing phase.

“With the proliferation of LPV Approaches in the United States, Canada and Europe, operators can now benefit from increased operational flexibility under all types of weather conditions while enhancing safety,” said General Manager of DAC International Cisco Hernandez. “This STC is just one of many innovative technology solutions we continue to develop for our customers.”

DAC International currently offers integration packages for SBAS/RNAV including LPV Approaches for the ATR/42/72, DASH 8-100/200/300 and Fokker 50.
